So, I'm a lvl 49 Con/Wis mage on LoA, and I can't decide whether or not to get an Int Elixer or Wis elixer. With the Int one it would bring me to 20 int (Bomp, Ammy, New T-Shirt) and help my lvling alot. But nowadays with all the stress placed on MR the Wis one seems appealing as well. Also would there be a sizeable difference in MP gains at 19 Wis compared to 18 Wis? Any advice would be appreciated ^^

I am maxing wis before I max
I am maxing wis before I max int anyhow. I will be choosing wis yet again =] Last two levels i added wis.
You prolly won't see a
You prolly won't see a sizeable difference with 19wis vs. 18wis but you will have higher MR and mp regen. I would make the decision by looking at what you usually hunt or plan to hunt in the future. If you are hunting something which requires a better chance of TU succeeding and don't really need the MR then getthe INT but if u have been noticing that your MR is a little lackluster and you plan to hunt magic heavy areas or PvP then Wis may be the stat for you. In the end each has its advantages and it becomes a matter of personal preference based on your habits in-game.
Im also Con/Wis mage, that
Im also Con/Wis mage, that is mostly a heal slave for bosses but also mass kills (I hate hate TU and never do it if avoidable.)
At 51 I added int, to give me 19 with items, and was planning on adding int again at 52, then switching to wis and maxing it out from there.
Thanks to the elixir, I will hit 18base int early, and be able to start adding wis at 52 instead of 53. =)
Got Blog?
You are lucky on that. I
You are lucky on that. I also added int first to get to 18 int for a few reasons. MP discount, extra healing ability, and better TU ability. I have added wis since. At least now I will have max wis at 58 as opposed to 59. =]
At 18 wisdom you can get to
At 18 wisdom you can get to 100 MR fairly easily anyway. That's the big step, although additional MR helps, so don't let that be your main deciding factor.
You will gain some mp on level ups, though I'm not sure how much.
My gut tells me you would gain more from adding int at least until 18. You will conserve more mana with increased turn rate, faster kill rate, better heals and the mana discount at 18 int. You can then start adding to wisdom and by the time you are 65 I can't imagine you will be any more than 1 mp per additional level behind what you would be if you added wisdom ... that would be 16 less mp than you could have had ... a small price to pay, in my opinion, to be able to get there faster.
The mp discount of 18 int is
The mp discount of 18 int is quite nice. It more than makes up for the 1 mp regen you get for the 19 wis. I would definitely get 18 int before I started adding wis.
I am Con Int mage, my int is
I am Con Int mage, my int is 1 stat away from being maxed out, but i will take wis over int elixir, because the t-shirt will max it out for me.
but it depends what type of lvlin u do, if u use tu to lvl in toi 51+ then int is best, if u do not use tu to lvl up, then go with wis, because the int v.v rly helps tu the mops in exchange it helps u lvl faster.
Alot of people say wis ocn is best mage
i went with con,int and i love my mage uber sick :)
and i AM no heal bot ever!
DL :P
Erm, items won't max your
Erm, items won't max your skills out. As far as I know, the cap is on the base, not base + items.
I find that at around 22 int
I find that at around 22 int you start to get really good turn rates on 51+. You get modest, but noticeable increases after that, but 22 is really the magic number of super efficient leveling ... for me anyway.
The low level priests in ToS are still really hard to turn at 22 int. It is around 24 that turning them becomes a more efficient way of earning karma than a MB and VT. At 25 int, you can really start to make some progress turning the low level priests.
I am torn myself on which to
I am torn myself on which to get, but I am in a slightly different boat. My mage is a 18 str/con mage. I am leaning more towards int rather than wis, but I too am uncertain which would benefit me more. The deciding factor would be how much of a difference would adding 1 wis make vs. adding 1 int.

I don't think I would
I don't think I would remake, but I will likely make a new mage. I was thinking 18 wis/con or 18 int/wis or 18 int/con. Which is recommended for mages now a days?
18Wis/Con only way to go
18Wis/Con only way to go =P

That really depends on how
That really depends on how much time you have and what you want to accomplish.
For me int/wis has worked out. With immune, the lost hitpoints are not nearly as bad as they used to be. I am a very casual gamer. I probably spend more time on the boards than I do in game because the community interests me more than the game and it's easy to just check in here at any time I have a free moment than it is to log into the game and do something. Int/wis is the easiest to level, which suits my style well.
If you are in it for the long haul go con/wis. You can always make up the int. You can never make up the hitpoints and mana.
If you fall somewhere between, I know a lot of people who like int/con. I enjoy PvP too much to give up the MR that comes with 18 wis, but if that's not your thing and your willing to be extra careful with bosses ... give it some thought.
Anyone not con ends up

I've been just about
I've been just about everywhere you can go, and I've never regretted only having 16 con on my mage.
I do, however, wish my elf had gone con instead of dex; but that's another story.
You will encounter it.. I

Maybe. But if/when that
Maybe.
But if/when that happens I'll just stop to think about how much I play and think to myself "the lost HPs aren't nearly as troublesome as being two levels and who knows how many millions of adena in gear I would be behind where I am if I had gone con/wis."
I am a really casual
I am a really casual player.
I played my elf for about 4 years and have yet to break level 50, that should tell ya something.
I also have a level 45 str/con mage, level 46 con elf, and level 32 knight. I know I will eventually get a character over level 50, but I do not know which one that will be. Once I get the last bits of gear for my mage, I may actually be able to level him solo in a few areas.
I have found that my mage does rather well solo when I have the gear, especially with no soft ac.
If you plan to add int past
If you plan to add int past 50 before wis.. then choose int..
if you plan to add wis past 50 before int.. then choose wis..
I added int from 51-55
I added wis at 56 and 57.. and im gona take a wis elixer during this event and keep adding wis till I am able to have 100 base mr w/o items O_o

A 25 int de can lheal for
A 25 int de can lheal for 150hp+, or ebolt for 60+. Double break is not limited to melee, it doubles other things as well o.o most people dont know that.

Does it still work for swords as well?
No, doesnt work for melee on
No, doesnt work for melee on anything other than claw/edo.
I dont know if you remember, but there used to be a DE on ken that was always bragging about how they 'ebolted an iffy to death'... This is why.
There are also de's I have seen that hunt in necro morph, and heal themselves while they hunt...

I have a level 49 Con elf
I have a level 49 Con elf with my extra stat point in int. Before i knew i was getting a free elixer i was planning on going dex->18 then max out int. any ideas??????? dex, int, con?
I would think Dex, but lets
I would think Dex, but lets wait and hear from other con elves, because I am not one ;). I am a dex elf and I will add to Dex :).
I would say dex unless you
I would say dex unless you just want to be a healer as a NB elf.
The dex first will give you much higher damage output allowing you to kill as well as heal, and NB with just the one Int you have is noticeably strong. Then when you are done with Dex and add Int again, itll be even stronger and you will have that damage output along with it.
Got Blog?
Dex or wisdom. My preference
Dex or wisdom.
My preference for con elf is dex and for dex elf is wisdom, but you can make case for either stat on either build.
The extra mp regen you get with the wisdom is nice.
The problem with wisdom on a con elf is that in order to get any additional MR, you have to swap out the dex ammy for a wisdom ammy. That's a hard shot to take.
since u already put into
since u already put into int.. i think you should use an int elixer.. better heals goes a long way

Thanks for the input guys! I still haven't decided yet but thanks for the advice.
Take it from a con elf...put
Take it from a con elf...put your points on dex. The faster you kill things, the less damage you are going to take anyway. Once you max your base dex out, with items/dex spell you can be looking at 32-34 "battle" dex, which packs a wallop, and don't forget, its not just your base damage that goes up...your hit probability goes up with dex increases also, as does your ER.
Good luck.

I also have a wis/con at 49,
I also have a wis/con at 49, and I'm not sure if to go with wis or int. I already have 19 int after adding items, with tshirt it will be 20. Losing one point when getting bapho morph.
So, how does 19, 20 and 21 int compare at 51f and 53/54f?
every int helps is about as
every int helps is about as much as i can say.. but around 22~23 int is about all that is required
but it feels like your level also comes to play for tuing~ it just gets ezer and ezer for me
