Okay, so ive been playing Lineage 1 on and off since january 2003 and gotten many characters to almost 49.
I want to return but there is one thing that stops me, and i believe many other people from joining.
Lineage 1 needs a new server, a fresh start to everyone who wish.
With all the high level people, mindblowing super item events, and now the elixirs, i get very turned off.
Ive heard that bots are diminishing, which is one more reason to give people a chance to start on a server, untouched by the curse of those pesty bots.
So i was thinking, if theres anyone here in the same train as me, or otherwise agree with me.
Maybe if we rant to NC enough about a new server, they just might give us one.

I doubt they would make a new server for the potential of new players starting. If it was guarenteed then they probably would consider it. The population of all servers is between 1-3k people max?
The highest level character I have is level 49 and I still enjoy playing this game. It is all a matter of whom you surround yourself with that matters. Surround yourself with people (regardless of level) that want to help you is a hugh benefit. It also helps that while I was playing (before my own break) I created some friendships and those people are still playing. Yes, they have about 4-15 levels on me, but I enjoy the company and advise they give :).

Actually, I think starting a new char is great fun.
SI & HV offer so many new things for a new char now & knowing "how to play" & "what to do" is a bonus you will have going for you since you played before.

Don't bother too much with the high levels and established items. Anywhere you go, there will ALWAYS be someone who got better stuff than you :p
There won't be a new server. LoA has 300~500 average players. While DeP is on like 100~200. I don't know about the other.
If anything about the servers should be done, that'd be the server merge.

We need a lot of new (truely new) people to sign up. there is are whole lot of people that like to game online that haven't even heard of lineage 1. I'm not sure exactly what the best promotion for the game would be, but attaching the disc to a gamers magazine worked for me back in the day :) I don't feel a merge will fix it tho. i feel a merge would cause more people to leave the servers. we have 3 servers now and people tend to play only 1, you won't make non-pvp happy by forcing them into a pvp server and the same applies to pvp players forced to a non-pvp server. a new server might just make the other 3 servers smaller without bringing in new blood. as to the question of low lvl players feeling left out, i feel its the duty of a pledge to make people feel welcome and to help develope those players your pledge is only as strong as your weakest person.
