OK Now on to the Next Comment on Lineage Gameplay..
Today I would like to bring in the discussion of drops. I'm talking all drops not just from bosses but they have allot to do with this post. Before I continue I would like to remind everyone that I am not a professional writer. Unless you count tickets and reports.
Either lineage DB needs to be updated (hint hint guys) or nc has to bring the drops up to what lineage db says. I am not the only one that has spent weeks, months hunting objects to either not get the drop that I desire or having to buy it from a charcter that obvoiusly has gotten the object by B*****G.
I am a SET collector. Yes I like having those sets that are rumored to exist on lineagedb. I have been able to come by the demon set, DE set (buying and reselling tunic), wizard set, vigor set(thanks to event). I was close to having the Ken Rauhel set and had to abandon that search and am currently one piece away from having a DK set. (Damn those boots). Funny how the bosses that these pieces are named after don't drop the pieces.
How about consumable drops??? HELLOOOOOO BZEL ANYONE??? It's bad and I have noticed the drop rate on these gone down. I used to be able to go to FV and get at least one a week. What about Bring Stones?? Mind you I play Lineage ALLOT. More than your average lineage player and I have not gotten one in a while. Even on my Int Elf Forays to 41. What about Dragon Scales. Try asking WTG Dragon Scales on global and smirk at the answer of GTV. Try to go hunt what you need and you get Nada.
How about those bosses.. Anyone... Anyone... Come on Fracas... (We love you BTW)
(a$$ Kissing Inserted) throw us a bone here. How about one of the uber drops once a month at least... KV SWORD. DK SWORD. Baranka Claw. Kurtz stuff. Heart of Dragon... Laia Rings. Iris ammy.... The list goes on and on. Once a month is not to much to ask. They will be blown so there won't be too many on server From what I hear there were 3 DK boots on Ken server. 2 accounts that had them were banned and 1 account that has a pair is expired. Is there any way for you guys to see how many of each of these items is on the server and keep like a percentage of the populations work in the drop pool. Like if a dk sword get's blown put another one back into the drop pool.
Do we have to wait for an event that the b*ts can play too and let the B*ts come on global the week after selling +9 whatever... Where is the risk vs reward?????

I am only a pair of boots away from finishing my DK set. I know they say the set sucks I still want it. It's for my seige character and I have been leveling my de and now the royal to 52 first. I hear through the (asian) grapeline and from reading the asian sites that only AQ drops these on a SUPER, DUPER, UBER, SUPER, DUPER (get it super) RARE DROP. She is a pain to kill to begin with. If I get to her first. BTW If anyone want's to donate to the help Papi out fund you will be handsomly rewarded with riches beyond compare, over time of course.

Can't complain about dragon
Can't complain about dragon scales drop rate. I got some here and there. Some years ago the only way to get some was to kill a dragon or find one on the ground. So I'm happy to be able to get one here and there :)
You made a DE set? WOW! That tunic isn't easy to get - congrats! As for other drops, well, could be better but if I look around in GTV I see a lot of rare items, some seems to drop more than others (e.g. Belt of Darkness - 500k soon?).
Most bosses can be killed with a ground of 3 ppl, even Tarak doesn't take more than 4. Some of the 60+ ppl can already solo bosses. So in my eyes the drops are good regarding risk <-> reward.
There are still the dragons if you want some cool drops. They always drop good but either people are to chicken or to greedy (team - split) to hunt them...
The rare items and sets should be rare and shouldn't be easily buyable by botters or adena buyers. Hunt for them, 1 or 2 years if needed. I like to have goals in the game, goals that keeps me busy :)

Prom thats all well and good what server do u play again LOA or Dep, papi is talking about our small lil Ken server. i agree drop rates should be increased on some things. lots of things are so rare on our server that they are 100m + where if i went to loa or dep and walked threw the trader villages i can find the items there for 50+ or less. i believe that it is unfair. Plus LOA and DEP have higher lvl ppl playing at any given time if someone wants to take on a dragon there theres plenty of ppl to do so. for us on ken we have a small population and we like it like that. no pvp except in a few areas for settling differences. its nice. anyway i understand what papi is talking about. the drop rates on some things are just impossible me and a small hunting group spent several days in the Elemental Ruins trying to pick up so Decay Pot spell books for the mages of the bp. with no luck. we however did manage a couple mambo hats and a coat. not a total loss but thats not what we were there for. (im not complaining about the drops from the mambo btw) but i find it rediculas when i spend 300 a oj's on my baby knight and kill the dark elder and get 000 im talking not even a bprat. sooooo now it makes me wonder. iffy drops junk drakes drop junk. i have been included on a few toi bosses and they drop junk. papi made some good points about things not dropping as they are supposed to. unless lin db is actually wrong, (seriously up date guys) anywayi think a drop increase is a good idea. but i wouldnt want to see the drop increased too much cuz that would defeat the purpose of the stuff being rare.

Um, I'm talking about Ken too. You got Mambo hat and coat? Sell it and you can buy plenty of Decay Pot books for all your pledge mages.
See, I can't even solo Dark Elder or any of the bosses with my lvl 50 elfy (only Iffy and DI Wind Spirit x.x) and I still can make 1mil per day without counting the big drops - making 100mil in max. 100 days isn't what I would push into the corner of 'drops are bad'. And I'm sure, you can make as much as I do - easily.

I would like to see the bosses drop more that 300a and a CMOMR (Ifrit) or nothing. I would like to see some normal drops increased (zels, dais, and spirit crystals), going through GTV and seeing B2S Spirit Crystals selling for 3-5m for a level 3 spell is outrageous IMO, but I know it is what makes elves so mana efficient on hunts. The level 5 Spirit Crystals selling for 500k+ makes sense because they are the high end elf spells (just like the level 8-10 Mage spells being expensive HW being 15-20m is insane btw :P).
Sorry if I started to ramble there a bit ^_^.

well ur luckyer than i am if ur making that kind of money a day. i dont get big drops im luck if i can get a zel now and then. so increase would be good that would give some of us a better chance at makeing some better cash and getting some of those big drops. and at lvl 50 u should be able to solo the de i have a lvl 50 elf and i can get 100% mr and solo him with TA and some pots. its not hard its pretty easy. heck for that matter i did it the other night with my noob knight. at lvl 43

And the sets aren't even that good, and even at the rate you get them , you wont wanna try to over enchant after +5 so why not make them easier to get.
And bzels...even after that event they went to 2m per on ken..
Also i herd the dragons drop junk anyways :P, so even if ken could it wouldn't make much
difference and i dont know what your talking about, not having alot of high lvls i know of 5 lvl

I know that just being lvl 70 doesn't mean you can take a dragon but, honestly every time we went for a dragon , what did yall do on ken...Mages and Elfs went in before a Melee,People didn't ith,

Dark Elder sucks x.x I'm not able to break his regen with my +7 BG and Ori-Arrows (and I shot him for several mins, with 100 GMR and 80 Wind EMR). I'll try TA him down next time.
Well, you got Mambo hat and coat - for me this is a big drop - one I haven't got so far.
Where I make 1mil a day? There are many places, e.g. FV, DVC 5f/6f, Heine 4f, Abyss Lake, Elemental Ruins - guess that's why botters hunt there most. If you don't borther about exp, hunt DI spirits and unis all day long and you'll end up with some bzels, zels, dais and maybe some other nice items.
Before I quit Lineage 2 years ago, the mops at DVC 5f/6f dropped no adena at all and only Muryans dropped zels, dais or blessed zels/dais rarely. I've hunted there with Willie for month, every day to get a ROTC but never got one. Compared to this, todays drop rate is like a double drop event.
Come on, how can someone who has completed almost every uber set complain about drops? If you look around and ask your pledge mates and friends about their gear, you'll see that +7 reg armor items, +8 new king/elven items are common already.
I really can't complain the drop rate, neven if I never got some of the rare items yet but I know people who got them - so I don't give up hope to get them someday :)

Oh, forgot to add TOS - Frags still go for ~350k each. Best I got there was 7 frags in one hunt (1 hunt = 3500 arrows). Most of the time I get 2-3 frags per hunt. Good cash, exp and karma upon :)

That was not from drops but allot of blood sweat and tears. Endless hunting. Making money. Overzelling items to sell for more items to trade to go up in stuff. Running through GTV. Buy Low Sell High etc..... Allot of hustling.
But this increase in drops or asking for the bosses to drop better is not only to benefit me. It's to benefit the server as a whole and through the server getting better drops we all prosper. How would a level 45 feel if they got ans ascroll and a forgotten item.. maybe 2 in one month so they can blow or sell and make money to continue hunting and feel good about telling their spouse/parent hey I'm having fun that' why I'm paying 15 dollar a month and spending countless hours at this keyboard.
Hey I play Lin and gave up watching TV because I feel when I play lin and level and get a drop that I accomplished something instead of Vegging out in front of a tv watching others do something.
When my wife says wow you spend allot of time playing I say "but at least I got 5% today! and I made a +7 whatever!" and I can look at her right in the face and be serious about it. Then I turn and say.. "how was dancing with the stars" or whatever other show she was watching and feel good. hehe

I understand what you mean,
I understand what you mean, it simply sucks to hunt day after day for one item and never get it. But when you finally get it - as drop or hard earned adena - excitement comes over you. I doubt that it will be the same if you get them more often.
