Reflection on my 1st Lin Birthday!

So I decided to take a little time and reflect on my up coming Lin Birthday!
I remember that it took me a lot of time to find lineage on the net, I had played before and had to do some major research to find Lin1...I did not want to do Lin2 as the grafics made me sick.
When I finally found Lin1 is was a huge hassel to get it uploaded and payed for. I messed up and ended up paying for it twice (dont ask) but when I finally got on I was so excited.
I got into the little training town and when the NPC started talking to me I spent five minites talking back thinking it was a real player..
lol
now everytime I start a new char I get to feel like a big idiot for doing that.

I did not relize last year when I made my elf CrystalJean that everyone would call me CJ.
Stupid really but I never thought of that.
It has become something of a big deal and I am not sure many of you really understand why.
My Papa named me. I was named for Crystal Gayle who was playing on the radio when they called to tell him I came out early and for my Nana (his wife) Lenna Jean.
The only person my whole life to ever call me CJ until now is my Papa.
Those of you that know me in the Ken server know that he is dying this year.
Sudenly my two elfs CrystalJean and ClaraJean take on a life of thier own.

LennaJean is my mage and as you can see I named her after my Nana. She is in The 300
Clara is a name Papi and Aaron came up with that I think sounds like a cow..LOL and is in x11
MaraJean is my princess. Mara is the name of a character in one of my favorite books from childhood.
The name of her pledge is NileLily and that is because the name of the book is "Mara Daughter of the Nile"

I have made so many friends over this past year. I never in a million years could of imagined how completly I would fall into the Lin community. TeamSpeak and Skype are a part of my every day.

I also could not of imagined how sick I would get over the last year. Chemo started in August.

I can honelstly say though looking back over this year that Lineage has kept me sane.
All the time I spend alone with the computer would of been so boring without all of you on the other end.
You have touched my life in ways I could of never predicted and in ways I can never thank you for.
I talk to Papi on the phone a few times a week and work for his wife (well when I am healthy)
We are planing a vacation to visit Doeltenga and his wife Tinydancer next summer!!!
I have a in game husband who is the loverboy of Europe and who keeps us in fits of laughter on skype with his "sheet" stories.
I am VP of the sk8 hater club..rofl...
I love Dawn and Joe like they are my own family.
Every day it seems I get closer to someone else or meet someone new.
If I had the time I could keep naming names forever it seems.

So much of my life is wraped up in Lin.
I understand that I will not always be sick, that sometime very soon I may very well get a job or get a baby and slowly have to give up my Lin time and might even loose track of my Lin friends.
But right now...one year later ... all I have to say is THANK YOU. Thank you to all of you who have touched my life and helped me through chemo, papa, being a lonely military wife, starting a blog!
