I am just curious here .. If someone, like say Papi, was to organize assaults on say, Diad Fortress in order to open it up for the whole server would not a majority of you like to aid in that endevor? Perhaps even support such an effort as it benifits any and all who would like to experience some of the new content?

would actually goto "war" and hinder such a server coalition from attaining this goal because of a so called "loyalty" over a questionable member at best (rather than say .. have them not attend).

Anyhow .. I am interested to learn what the general concensus of (at least the Ken members here on the LineageOne Boards) every one is on the open/not open question of Diad Fortress and why.

I don't see any reason why someone don't want Diad open and I doubt that there is such an butthead who wouldn't want to share a hunting area with others - would be pretty dumb playing an MMORPG then.
Everyone with karma level has access to Resistance anyway. The current open/close interval is pretty nice - closed long enough to sell Return to Resistance Scrolls :)
On Ken there is really no hunting area that is crowded (beside those which are infested by bots, like SKT 4f, DVC 5f, etc.) and if someone thinks that he/she would get more better drops if less people hunt a specfic area - well, believe me, this is not the case.

Myself is supporting the idea and the philosophy behind it. Acting together for a greater good. Player from LoA who did know Myrdin wont be surprised to read that - frankly I like that way.

It doesn't matter if the oak is german or korean or chinese or located in USA. The meaning is simple: It don't matter what other say or think. We just do our thing, open diad over and over and over again.
And when we done with it, we open it once more.
Maybe one day we even defend it, but that would only for the craig.

hehe lets make this a bit more clear. that pledge that went to war with papi is my pledge. and as interesting as it sound i have never made any threat to papi that he will be attacked at diad. i'm reluctant that papi feels that i would even interfere with his diad affairs when i have always shown him support in that endeavor from the very start. we planned and stood together waking up at 4am to move the diad time only failing the first time cause of time differences.. waiting 4 days to get the time right then finally took the diad and changed the time to more appropriate time for our server to help.. -.-;; we even spoke about merging our pledges together during that time to oppose delta coalition and to bring some fun back in seige. interesting..
its always nice to see how truth gets twisted and bent around :p so whats with all this about war? if we can even call it a war -.-;; the truth of the matter is so far out and i wouldn't bother explaining it here as it may hurt Papi's rep. but to simply put.. i've lost my faith in Papi. heck i loved the guy, he's funny straight to the point, we were in same pledge for nearly a year.. what can i ask more? sadly its never about just him and me. anyhow, he obviously has far stronger and better friends than i do like for you for instance... Tikie! so whats to worry? our pledge stand alone in this matter ;)

Yes let's make this clear. "WAR" of ken is just plain dumb. Ken is non PVP and PVP is nothing without experience loss.

He and I "WERE" working together to help make lineage better before someone got resurrected.
I agree we had BIG talk about taking down Delta on ken but I can see now that is impossible so I am focusing my efforts in making ken better to attract new members (Yes I tell all my friends to join) and make ken FUN. (HeHe) Imagine that me a noob playing 1 year and taking down Delta HaHa.. I still think that Aden having an NPC within the Aden castle to Tele a player to a TOI Boss floor is too much of an advantage for anyone to have. NC Look into my previous post about making EVERY castle like DIAD (i.e. NPC Takes every 4 days and if you want to keep it fight off NPC's as well as Sieging players for two hours This would also help with the new dungeons added in EP6) If I ever attended a ADEN siege and I was not there to HELP one of my friends in DELTA (Yes I have game friends in DELTA) I expect to have the whole bp's fury unleashed upon me. Hell, that is what a siege is for. And I would never have a bad taste about it after a siege is over. Grief play is bad. I would still buff every delta player in passing. And I would not grief attack them...

Soomy I still respect you but you have failed me in your acceptance for an individual before making stipulations to this individual about their return. This person HURT many. Insulted all. But they succeeded in getting back their "click" that is you , and about 5 others that were the original Credence. And yes we were in the same BP for over a year but I see now, in sk8's words I was an OUTSIDER... Very disappointed in that one too.
For the record Soomy I still LOVE you as a friend and respect your love for lineage. A love that I share as well. This game is my escape from my real life. In real life I reach stress levels that would kill the normal human but with help from my friends I persevere and return to play Lineage again (WOW THAT WAS SOOOOO CHEESY I HAD TO MAKE A SEPERATE PARAGRAPH TO SHOW THE CHEESYNESS LOL)
AGAIN Soomy never made any threats whatsoever about opening diad, but someone else did. However the other player never went through with their plans. Must have been an empty threat for me to not open diad but it was a money issue for that player. Mentioned in that conversation was the player saying that "his" boots have devalued from 15m to nothing because of diad being open. To this I say BOO FREAKING HOO. Too bad you can't rip off players anymore and players can hunt their own stuff now. I like the idea of people being able to hunt for items!
Yes I have friends... I like to think that I am earning friendships and trust. The same way that you, soomy, have earned my respect before and that is why I am saddened by this turn of events. I am sorry Soomy for saying that I am going to kill the ORFEN player but it's the truth. I will however wait for a siege and you and your bp can protect it there. I will not ask for help to do it but their are people that have the same plans as I and not on my direction. Shoot, people wanted to kill that players characters before IT died and more have joined in the quest to kill it after it's return from the afterlife. This question is put to the entire LineageOne audience and is the topic of this discussion.
The group the question refers to is the LineageOne audience.
My preface was included to set up the question, not as a part of it. There are a hand full of people refered to in the preface, not all references are to Soomy and/or his pledge. I purpously left out any names so as to avoid this type of banter over the preface and to avoid anyone feeling as though they had to 'defend' themselves or their actions. The question put to the community asks for a yes/no and why on the matter of Diad Fort being open.
I appoligize for not setting up my question in such a maner that it was easily understandable, It is my fault for assuming that every one would understand that the thread is a preface to and then a question.
Hope this clears it up enuff for everyone to understand and provide their feedback

good - Easy access, dont have to hunt myself twigs, can feel free to leave resistance when I want to instead of feeling trapped there
bad - people all over your hunting area (less exp gain, have to deal with gatekeeper spawn issues more, and people messing up room timers), more people farming the items (so prices drop = less profit for your normal hunts) I remember selling gloves for 15m, boots for 8m, and cloaks and junk for a mil each. Now the profit is less than a third of that. But that is just the way Lin works...
Closed =
good - less people in hunting area, more exp gain, more money made, less competition.
bad - a feeling of being trapped there, which if in level mode isnt a big deal since you dont want to leave anyways.
I weigh goods vs bads between the two options, and end up with preferring it to be closed. And then people call me Greedy. =) Oh well, to each their own.

Actually the problem is the trying to keep names out of it. It was actually someone else (two people) who threatened to come cause trouble. I can't bring myself to read all of this so I'm not sure where Soomy got the impression that anyone was accusing him of saying he was going to try to stop Diad from being taken.

cant say that just a handful of people can benefit from it being closed when everyone does the same thing to get down there..some actually just take the time to hunt to make the scrolls. everyone has an equal opportunity to get to resistance, its whether they choose to take advantage of it. making it as easy as just walking to a teleporter or whatever to get there takes away from the hard work many are doing to hunt there. of course maybe i have no idea what im talking about..that happens some times. i just trying to say that the few people that hunt there are in no way squandering the profit of resistance because they work to get there and gain the profit.
Closed..is my vote. it keeps resistance from becoming another played out used up hunting area.

While technically, true ... this is simply not a practical argument. Everyone has the option of dropping real life responsibilities to go hunt twigs to teleport to resistance. When one person has a job and a family competing for his or her time and another person has no job and no family to interfere with his gaming, access is clearly easier for the latter.

Just because some people cant afford to invest the time, doesnt mean that others cant. The game isnt set up for a 15minute log in and do whatever you want. There are things you can log in and have instant access to, there are things you cant. And it should be that way.
Whats the difference in dropping your 'real life responsibilities' to level up, or hunt money, and dropping them to go hunt twigs so that you can go enjoy a new hunting area? That argument is null. Whats next, a 15minute level 50 for those that cant invest the 2months+ it takes everyone else? (The absurdness of that suggests the impracticalness of the --everyone should have equal access no matter their amount of log in time-- argument)
Everyone has equal access, that point stands. Whether one person can more easily hunt the twigs or not, it is still the same time investment for both parties.

I want to first apologize. This post is long and I wrote it at work there is probably some things I missed that I want to say and mistakes in it but I'll address that later.
It seems that during my leveling I have neglected lineageone.com I'm so sorry for that because I almost missed this thread. Well This is the first I have seen of it and I am commenting right now.
Here is Papi's cents and these are gonna be good.
1. Thank You Tikie. I can see now that you and X11 are Great friends. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy that you care enough about people in game that you took time to create a thread about our in game annoyances. It's an annoyance not really a concern.
2. Soomy. I have respect for you always had and always will. I enjoy your passion for the game and the want to keep the game enjoyable for everyone. I enjoy that you share your insight with everyone. This "problem" that we are having now is based on a few things and since am a straight shooter I am going to air it all out. I don't like to hide anything.
This started with COUPLE (Whom many think is a botted char, maybe because of the language barrier and non respectful game play while it leveled, mop thieving and not responding when talked to) Was sent by you to find your bp so called "fun" (Your Words) Couple made the mistake of attacking Oin's char on FVB that happens to be in my bp. Oin called X11 and a fight ensued
NOTE* Which I want to say that PVP on a NON PVP server is just a waste of time on an ongoing basis. There is no exp loss except in a siege. Leave the PVP for a siege. If I want to fight you I will be there and be willing to gamble my exp on it.
I was called to the fight because my bp member was attacked first (In the pursuit of "FUN" for your BP) Which you can run your BP anyway you like. Since I showed up at the fight and helped friends of mine I was whispered by you. Your excuse for the attack was that Oin was a hated name and was attacked because of his name (This means to me that OIN does his thing at sieges lol) Your "FUN" getter did not bother to look at the bp symbol first. When I explained that his char was in my BP I was told it was a mistake and won't happen again. I was asked if I had a problem with Orfen and I told you Yes. He/She is a Lair and I have discontent in my heart for that player. The thing about that player that sealed the deal for me was not only did it lie about DYING which by itself i horrendous and Emotionally hurt many or my friends in the process but upon it's return it had the audacity to whisper me with negative comments and threats and down talk. Instead of an explanation and want to try to make amends for it's wrong doings. I suppose that this player did not see me as a friend at all and in SK8's words I was always an OUTSIDER never part of your crew or in "the click" Does not matter to me. An apology upon it's return would have made worlds of difference. But I am an OUTSIDER so I digress.
Funny thing is that the attack looking for "FUN" was placed on one player and this "WAR" LOL was based on me not liking a member of your BP. Yes I have friends now. And yes Papi has been busting his rump leveling and is not a pushover anymore. Maybe I had been subconsciously preparing for the day I was to be BULLIED on a non pvp server again and I am ready. Someone that LIES, DIES, is RESURRECTED and does not apologize the the WHOLE server for their wrong doings has problems. I would suggest that this person become humble and asks for forgiveness from the whole server. Even after asking for forgiveness time must pass before this person would be forgiven by the masses but I see that as a small price to pay for the actions taken by that person. But yet again I am an OUTSIDER and my voice on this does not count and I bet this person is too thick headed to even try. It is hiding behind you and it's "friends". It's your BP you run it like you want.
SOOMY I admire you. You and me are alike in our LOVE for lineage, I am sure you see that. I want to make the game better for the server. In my opinion Ken Rauhel is a NON PVP server so what is there to do in Lineage when it's NON PVP. I would like to see everyone play together to make things happen that normally would be impossible. I would like to unite the server to accomplish in making Lineage FUN! Some say it cannot be done but I am starting to see it happen. My admiration for you is based on your posts on the state of lineage play. However I do not agree on your forgiveness of certain actions without making people face their problems and wanting to keep it in house. This person offended many on the ORFEN char. It thought it was too uber and does not have to answer to anyone. It is wrong.
As for this "WAR" I laugh at that because this is not a PVP server. It's an annoyance and a harassment for low level characters. These FVB fights are the type of thing that discourage new lineage players. If you notice not once have I, or any of my BP, attacked any of your players first. There is a reason for that, it is pointless and a waste of time, this is not a pvp server. However we will not be attacked and do nothing. I love nothing more than fighting bullies. If you want to fight go to sieges and gamble exp. That is a fight. Losing polies and buffs and forced to eat 19 meat with no exp loss is nothing but an annoyance. If your BP wants to PVP ,"FUN",go to sieges or go to a PVP server and don't run into safety zones after they attack.
3. I like to share EVERYTHING that I know with everyone that I know. There are plenty of things to do in this game if you know where to look and create a fun party to hunt with. Many night I have been literally crying with laughter while hunting with in game friends and then look down at my exp and I gained decent exp after our hunt was over and had loads of fun. I am not really good at keeping secrets. I tell the truth. I am not subversive nor do I try to deceive people. I will tell you like it is weather you like it or not. As my friends will know I tell it to you straight and am honest.
4. LINEAGE IS HERE FOR EVERYONE TO PLAY!!!!
Everyone should be able to play any area that they chose. New players should not have to pay 2million to go hunt an area that is part of the game. If items devalue because of diad being open this means that they were overpriced to begin with. If you paid your dues, like I did, and paid, hunted the right to go to resistance then you have made your money back by now. Diad was bugged for a long time. Enough s enough. The rest of the server is coming and if you don't like it too bad. Diad is open for 4 days at a time and closed for 4 days. It has NEVER been defended (Mini was close before). If we do attempt to defend (as a server) it would be for bragging rights. We would probably only do it once because it's time consuming and much easier to take diad every 4 days. As for money loss on items.... Ep6 should be coming soon so the money income from items should go up again soon. I have noticed NC adding items for lower level players to be able to hunt to equip themselves instead of paying high prices like the "named elven" set. Maybe NC sees too much cash going around too.
I have tons of plans for server cooperation that will be upcoming soon. These plans are good for high and low levels alike and should benefit the whole server. This is Lineage in the US. It's a little different that other countries and the game play might be different here. If everyone is having a fun time playing isn't that the most important thing?? Who wants to sit at their computer wanting to have fun playing to only be angry by the time you log???
In closing for now I also wanted to say that you said I have strong friends now. This is true. But the reason you did not know immediately that I was at the fight is because I was there on a siege char. Yes I like to use a char that was specifically made to fight. Not only do I have strong friends but I am strong as well. I hope this will help to settle differences between us..

It all could have been left out. Because with it in there, it encourages discussion on it (which I may point out, is the blunt of your topic). And it encourages those directly referred to (come on people, its ken server, you dont have to name names, everyone knows everything, everyone knows and names dont need mentioned for the real intention to come through.)
No point in hiding behind 'well I didnt name names, that wasnt the discussion, thats not what I want to find out'. Because if it wasnt somehow intended to be part of the discussion, then it would have NEVER been mentioned.

For the record. I am not involved in the war yet. I have not attacked nor defended any one on any side. I am currently in a neutral pledge.
But we all will be involved, its the future of Ken server. Some are just preparing a little earlier than others.
Its unfortunate that the nature of Ken server is bickering, arguing, name calling, and global bashing any time a pvp fight occurs. Instead of fighting the fight, having a boat load of fun doing it, and shaking hands and saying 'good fight everyone (on both sides) and I cant wait for the next one!' (It doesnt matter if there is no exp loss. Its the fun and practice of it, not the glory of taking the other guys 1%. You fight a siege to win the castle, not to take away the other sides exp.)
Its the history of sieging and ken server that at some point your pledge is going to be forced to engage in pvp conflict with another pledge, a pledge in which you have friends. If any of yall were around in the old days of ken sieges, that was common place. But the thing to remember is that at the end, you say 'good fight!' and go on with your normal game play. Dont let it be personal. I have personally fought against, killed, died to, and been owned by true friends on the other side of a pvp siege. And at the end of it, we whisper each other, say good fight, and cant wait for the next one. It doesnt alter one aspect of our friendship, other than a possible strengthening.
If you guys are really after bettering ken server for the good of the whole, then you may want to take a closer look at what exactly is happening. Because that is exactly the intention.
For those that say, well your side has cheaters!
Well guess what... There is not a single side of this that doesnt have cheaters. You can pretend all you want that the side you have chosen doesnt cheat or associate with cheaters to maintain the advantage they have, but the truth is they do. Now, dont get me wrong. I am not saying I want to associate with cheaters, nor am I purposely going to... I am saying IT CAN NOT BE AVOIDED. And not a single person on here has not fought along side a cheater or a pledge with cheaters in it. It can not be avoided.

The areas change, the monsters change, the drops change, it all changes. So enjoy it while you can. Call me greedy for not wanting it open, I dont care. My only comment to Papi... Quit getting so hung up on this person. You are giving them exactly what they want with each of your comments about them. If you really feel so strongly against them, then the absolute best thing you can do is pretend they dont exist, exclude them, whatever. Its what you would want anyways. It over, its the past. Now let it be the past, so we can get to the future. If they really are dead to you, then let them be, dont feed into them by basing entire arguments and actions on their existence or words.

I know I may get flack for this, but, being part of the glory siege days on Ken, I agree with Sk8.
This bickering will not help sieges it will make them worse and life outside them painful. I understand many were hurt by what happened about a month ago (I was not around when the first step of this occurred, so I will not claim to be part of the situation, this is just my opinion of someone on the outside looking in). By lingering and holding a grudge will do nothing but add fuel to the person's desire of attention, and that is exactly what is going on at this point in time. Last night was a perfect example. The best way to take revenge is to move on and prosper thus taking away the attention.
Everyone here has a choice, if you choose to linger on the past; forgive and /exclude the person; forgive, forget, and support the person; or take a neutral stance on the issue that is your choice. You also must live with that choice and whatever consequences may come.
If multiple pledges wish to go to war against each other there is nothing wrong with that, but to go to war with each other over a grudge against a small amount of people is insane and saddening. I though this was a game not a TV drama.

If this turns into a TV drama and I am forced to choose a side, I do not know what I will do because there are people on both sides that I respect and have been long-time friends with. I will not take this game into the drama phase again (done it about three times now since I started in 2001 and I will not go down that road again).
If you saw me on the field of battle last night, I was not there because I wanted to be there, it was because a friend and pledgemate asked me for his support. I try to separate siege/war/pvp from my daily Lineage life, and I stopped holding things against others because this is, after all, just a game.

I know you are trying to say me because of Sexi's ranting on global today. This is coming from a guy that says he made 30-50m in a month. I guess you are the only one that can do this. I have 12 characters over the level of 50. I could not have possibly made up that money on my own. No matter I understand that you need to try to tell yourself this because I have learned a game in a relatively short amount of time that it took you years to learn. Now that I have figured out how to 2box like you have been doing all this time I am leveling and making even more money. It's ok though I know that you are not good at making or keeping money from your own admission on your own posts at lineage one.com how you feel inadequate about not having money in real life. By this you mean Conal. The first thing he told me when he joined is that him and orfen had words. He did not like her BSing on global so he excluded her. When she talked to him he ignored her. He was a Level 58 royal on LOA but He must NOT have any skill because sk8 did not know him. He is also a German national and speaks to us on team speak all of the time. Never used a hack. Like Sexi at the fight last night and I pointed that out to you on global today also. zz

Name a name I am lost in this one.... The server has seen that Unity has become dumb bullies attacking people on FVB and is fed up of it. I did not call for any help on fvb everyone came for themselves to see. When they see that unity was making asses out of themselves they decided to pick the side they though was right. Surprisingly it was not yours (Or formally your side.) By his own admission Soomy has placed on his blog that he started this war to help his BP progress. Being a BULLY ?????? Yes I think so. I for one am a little glad those fights happened. I have gained many new friends and support on the server. Everyone that hates you is coming out. I will do everything in my power to stop your plans because you know nothing when you think you know everything. You and your "friends" have transformed my bp into a hunting BP to an asswhooping alliance that waits for the chance to fight and believe you me I will be there and gamble experience when you go on your quest to "Liberate" the server. I do not run from anyone or anything in real life and I sure as hell won't do it here. But you already knew that. That is why soomy chose my bp to be at "war" with because he knows I'm not a punk like you. I am waiting in anticipation on the letter a day campaign...

It's not up to you about Diad it's up to the majority of the server that wishes to come help open it. If no one shows to help open it then it will stay closed. A win for democracy maybe? People gamble their experience to open it. Not up to you. Not up to you. Not up to you. Maybe you understood this time. Episode 6 will bring new areas to hunt and gather exp and all I hope is that they have combat zones and I run into you there cause I will be there.

Well that was not your ONLY comment to me based on the answers I have given in the beginning of this post and what was said by Sexi over global today and what Troje has said today to me. You are right I have been giving this person waaaay too much attention but unlike you I NEVER ignore what is being said about me by someone. Let me be the first to say that I will respond to anything anyone want to say about me in game or post or in person. That's the good thing about be a man. I'm never going to hide and I will help and support all of those that have earned my respect and trust through their actions or by their help to me.

I was simply pointing out that there are those cheaters on all sides of every fight on every server. This goes to the fact that Ken is not the way YOU want it. I would bet money that if you took a poll from the layers on ken and asked them if Ken has gotten any better since I began a BP they would say yes. I have HELPED the SERVER do things that were not done before. I have helped introduce people to areas that they have never seen even though they have been playing for years. You and the other GREEDY higher level players that have kept the server in the dark about knowledge of the game because of your own greed should be ashamed. I have brought inter BP cooperation PROVEN by the amount of people, from different pledges, that have come to help open diad. You would seek to dethrone Delta even though they have done nothing to you. To this I say Boo Hoo. Maybe because I do not have dreams of ADEN domination. I admit I had thought before that it would have been cool to engage Delta in a fight for aden. This was a noob pipe dream. Delta is well established in this server they have been playing for years and have years on us. They have hundreds of players. The only way to level the playing field on Ken would be to do a complete server character and item wipe and make sure no bots are used. I would be willing to do this. Would you????
Yes there was no one ending dragon before I began planning for it and drumming up interest. There was no server cooperation in opening diad. There were hardly ever any multiple bp hunts... Man I must be doing something wrong. Is that really keeping the server where it used to be?????
It's keeping the server working together, just because this is not the future Ken you want does not mean it's bad. I have done my research about the ken of old. I hear I'm doing a pretty good job as shown by the support of numerous BP's and friends that I am developing. Oh you did help as well as Unity in uniting the server. By being bullies and greedy, non helping, players the server is coming together against you.
About the outsider comment you show that no one else matters. Just you and your click. It was said by a "friend" of yours. "I just wanted it to be us again" Well you have it. I am happy to be an outsider now. I Will help EVERYONE on the server get the most out of their time that they escape to Aden. I refuse to let bullies and greedy people like you and your "friends" (Greed as in information and hunting areas and Items) hold the rest of the server to the areas that you feel they should have access too.

Its unfortunate that today people prefer Global as their choice of confrontation. Why? Because its easier to do it right there where everyone can see, apparently. I am sure that everyone on ken server, (other than those that simply dont want to pvp at all, which is fine,) would love to see sieges look like that again. To get it back, it has to start somewhere.

Yes credence and mini used to open Diad. What is the reason for not opening it again..............
As far as credence is concerned (meaning you) it was greed and not wanting anymore players to go to resistance that way.
So I stepped in to keep it open. Yes sk8 you did start something goon. And I continued it. I don't have all of the players in my bp to do it this is true but I am getting more everyday and YOU see this happening. The reason I am under target by your CLIQUE is because I am expanding and you don't like it. TOO bad..... Yes I do call the SERVER to help open diad. And if no one showed then it would stay closed. As far as secrets in the game. This game stated in Korea and they are a few updates ahead of us in Asia. What we have is old or players that have played Asian servers. People with knowledge of Asian languages have a HUGE advantage of being able to read the Korean and Chinese sites that have all of this information available. It's ok I live in NYC THE MELTING POT. I have a few coworkers that I have recruited as translators. As a matter of fact they are official translators to the UN. It can and will be found out by my lineage friends and I and will be shared freely.....

He came into Credence shortly after he came to Ken server. I was aware of who he was because he was an active forum poster on the main boards (Myrdian --sp?), so we brought him in. He didnt agree with the pledge, so he left. He went to OSX, or X11, whatever the pledge name was at the time, where he made the post I linked above, indicating that he was leaving them to 'power level with his friend the uber heal mage'. At that point was when the bot like behavior began. Not when he was in Credence, not when he was in X11. After his accent to 51+, he emerged back on the scene, where you embraced with open arms.

I wont comment on anything else, in hopes that if I stop the linone posts, others will follow suit. And hopefully they will stop the global accusations and bickering too. And when it happens, everyone on both sides is going to have a ton of fun fighting beating each other up.
The fight may have been started by the other side, but they did not start the drama. Yall are starting, and maintaining the drama. And that drama is what needs to be avoided, for the sake of everyone, even those that arent involved.
I had better faith in Ken server, that they would welcome the rejuvenation of pvp and sieges. I guess I was wrong. Instead of taking it for the fun that it is, they are taking it personally. And that is what is causing the drama.
When will yall allow the drama to pass, so that we can get to the fun?

Conal was also recommended to me by some folks at x11 before I joined him so I took him on friends reccomdation and the fact that he had played a royal on another server and has huge knowledge of the game.
The drama will pass when you stop thinking it's your game and should go by your rules and run the way you see fit and leave everyone to play the game the way they want.
Oh wait people have told you before that you think you know everything. maybe you will finally be able to see that you do not know everything and everyone has thier own mind?

All of this bashing on both sides on LineageOne and on global do nothing but make the game less enjoyable for the masses of Ken server. It will also push away people that are looking at returning and read these boards. I kinda proved that last night by making some random comments directed at no one and somehow managed to get a global arguement going between the two sides that annoyed many and accomplished absolutely nothing.
Possible solution for everyone involved:
Suck up your pride and set aside your ego and admit mistakes were made. Then find a 50/50 meeting point and deal with the issues at hand. If you walk away enemies, so be it, but leave the rest of the community out of the issues of the few.

when i say i think it should be closed, its not meant to make it where only the people who have the privelage to play more often than others get to benefit from it..no no.. believe me, i would love to have it easily accessable to the players who dont get to play as often as some..believe me..im one of them... ive never been to RV, so, i dont know how big it is and how many players it can comfortably hold without getting crowded.
after reading more replies and such.. my opinion is altered slightly.. i like what anju suggested.. keep it open for say 4 days and closed for 8 or so.
but one thing that i think lineage needs way more of..

This is about Diad, open or closed... period. It's not about Papi. It's not about Soomy. It's not about the person that threatened to drop mops on the players fighting to open Diad (and I know who it was, and it's not Soomy or anyone from Unity who threatened that), and it's not about someone who made either an exceptionally bad judgement call or who has some serious emotional/mental issues...
It's about Diad. Period. Diad. Open or closed... and what affect that has on the server, prices, hunting, etc.

it was kinda mutual agreement with papi and soomyung to be at war , but we did not attack them on fi or fvb.. they chose to hit us first with soomies order, they were the aggressors in this.
As for the things i see sk8 mentioning , siege is a very fun part and i dont see why friends can't be friends after a good fight but i still see the conflicts it brings with people, but i think the same it doesn't matter what side your on, just trying to equal the numbers is fun but it really gets boring just getting canceled all the time x.x i mean come on adverage elfs do -60 mr....even my friends with 140mr..
140-60=80...80 mr even for a 18 base int mage = cancel lol...so sad melees have no real places in sieges anymore but to nock at a door and push over towers.Oh god im talkin too much and off subject dang it yall makin it spread around..but to sum up, yes no matter what there are hackers and bots around us that we dont know about..sad to say..but most of the ones i knew got banned the last few months and i see all the legits still playing :) so at least now i know who lied to me and who isn't,
but about this conal guy..i dont think it was him who botted but there was a bot with a simililar name that yall might be thinking of when i remember fully i will get back to you. Please try to remember all this is a game to have fun...it isn't real life its colors generated by 0's and 1's on a screen to full the eye to thinking of something real please dont get upset or get carried away over this..

The reason why I dont speak with you for about a year now is, that I dont have anything to say to you. When I was in credence I learned quick that you think you are the greatest. That only you know all of the game and know all better. Orfen may have a bad temper but deep inside her is a nice part. Pitty she dont show that one more often. As for you SK8, I would call you more then a asshole in more then one language. Would you have listen to me when I was in you pledge and we talked about boxing, then you would not have needed to buy a pc. You just did prove only one thing - that you know nothing. Especial about Macs.
I dont own anyone my lifestory, especial not a kid like you. So listen carefully cause I will explain myself only once.
First:
I played PvP. If anyone kills me while powerleveling in a combat zone then I laugh. There is no xp loss. Want to know a secret? Actually I let my helper mage kill me when situation got bad. At that time I didnt have i2h and that way only the mage dies, not my knight. Bad side of this was, that I had to use a new helpermage cause my wife started to get mad at me when I got her mage killed again. You high and mighty jerk really think you where the only one who showed on FI and killed me? No and for a brief time it was like a folkssport. However you are the only one I call Arschloch. (I think you can figure the meaning).

We dont have Intelmacs. We never had and wont have in any near future. We cant run any of the client modification which I am accused to. I was so kind and grabbed a photocammera and took a shoot from our computers. As you can see, no Intel inside. Our Macs are Intel Outside and we are happy about that one.
Third:
As posted under my royal name, Macos can run several instance at once. I made that available to the community but you can do a lot more without any cheating. You see I did part of the Betatesting when the Mac Client came out and if you did read the Lineage.com forum in the last 6 years then you know that did fix way more then that, not mention the workaround for the Firevalley Bug.
Gethoboxing or Multiboxing, what is running several clients on one machine, is one way and it is tiring. But I got two machines. No need for N52 or hack or any other device. To control my Royal and later one my Knight I just had to switch on the help for the disabled persons, shown here.
Now you have the complete control over the machine on you keyboard and that includes mouseclicks. As a luxury you can use Controlermate to save a extra mouse click and voila you have a legitimate 2 boxing solution. Powered by the MacOS. Works great on FI, preferred in the south, since the knight only need a mouse with one button for the braves and no chance to get stuck with the mage.

I am a Wiccan Highpriest and I learn a lot stuff about the different cultures and religions. That includes philosophy and especial Confucianism. That includes learning at least some of the language if necessary. Confucianism loose a lot when translated to english. You do not have to explain to me about two boxing on a Mac, how small the screens are, how bad it hurts your eyes, and how you cant read chat... etc, etc, etc... You know why?
I do it every single day, for YEARS!
Its very interesting that no one has ever had any serious accusations against me, saying I looked/acted as a bot like that during any of my power leveling two boxing on a Mac, through endless hours of the night.
The point is as simple as this... During your power leveling, you allowed me to kill you (well more so, assist the monsters in killing you) three times for 3% exp loss. I dont care how tired you are (unless you are actually asleep) you are not going to continue playing like nothing is happening, not only once but three times that someone is getting you killed, draining your mana, and ruining your hunt... Yet you continue to hunt like that person is not even there swinging at you (even though you are healing the damage I was causing to your heal mage, while continuing to heal your tank on the monsters.) And you do not even acknowledge that they are there screwing you up.
I am glad you got a laugh out of it. I am also glad you can read (all the things I mentioned before.) And I am glad that this illustrates that you really were not present at the time that this took place. Because there was exp loss buddy, very much so. 3% of em, actually. I have spent many a hour on FI, everyone knows that you dont lose exp to players there, but they also know how to let you die to a monster so that you do.
Im also curious... You must use the Chinese Client on your Mac huh? Because you cant type the Chinese characters you talked to me in game that day, without a Client that allows for typing them...
(Wierd, because it looks like the English Client in your screenshots...)

I am not saying YOU are a bot. I am saying your Character was. Whether you did it yourself, or someone else did it, I dont care. But the above behavior is that of a bot. That would be why I assumed it was a leveling service (as you will see from the post in June). I hope the couple of levels was worth the mud you drag your name through. =)
