So im stuck back at Uni... And I cant play on my schools network ! Its laggs wayyy to much... about 5 secs in between 1,2,3 :( Any ideas on how to improve my connection or at least allow me to play !?

Yea i had the same issue...got to the point where i just went out and bought the new verizon wireless internet card. 60 bucks a month but i can take my internet with me wherever i go =P
Without the ability to
Without the ability to reconfig the router/server you have no chance to improve your connection. If you have direct access to the server/router or a good relation to the network administrator you may try the following:
- enable traffic-sharping (google it for further config info)
- increase bandwidth and/or priority for your subnet or IP
- reconfig or skip the proxy
This will for sure help :)
