I spent most of the event in tos, battling the bots for exp. i made the last 10% this weekend, all the while being superdad and taking care of business @ home. once i hit 56, i took the pups and headed up to 41f. end result was a death for us all, but 4.5 bzels, and few other trinkets to make up for the risk vs reward. the hunt i had with chork was fun we tore it up with 2 spirits, and 2 high lv elfs.
i made a choice 6 years ago to play a dex elf. the end result is 25 base dex, 21 er, 421 hp, -60ac, and a +10 yumi to represent my financial net worth in lin ^^. i am not a mele char, 3 or more high lv mops and i am usually dead. the prob with toi, and lin in general is the game is geared toward mele and magic. very few floors truly benefit the elf class in layout and breakdown of mops. my deconstruction of toi, is for another blog entry. very few high level places use ranged attack. i fell in love with tos, because the mops all use a ranged attack there. having a high er, allowed me to "tank" 3 blue colored mops, and kill them all pretty easily. i just wish the requirements for the 2nd floor was a little easier, and we could get some confirmation on the lowered # of frags needed. for the love of god nc, change it now. tweak that one line of code, and remove a 0. now. stop reading. please go. also, more high lv mops that use a ranged attack please.
decided to head to FI and try to get a little exp and some loot to go with it. being a skinny little dex elf, i need some tboots for a little hp boost. in order to upgrade, my current wish list is as follows:
+5 tboots
+7 pg
+8 dex helm
+8 bcomr
asword
how long will it take me to get the funds for all that? stay tuned ^^

the 100 frag you heard of is a 1 time teleport to 2f (kinda like the 10 frag requirement to soe)
the 1000 frag requirement for the charm still remains
but I believe ~ that the frags will increase in drop rate.
The above 3 lines are a rumour and I can not prove it, but that is what i have been told

And on that note, fyi, my elf storage is where Cazorp's Shadow Masks were and he ended up with 3 +9's.
You see, I have so much fairy dust in there, it kinda spills over onto other things and seems to make them... umm... luckier ;)

i am not chasing mele gear
i am not chasing mele gear per se, those are the upgrades from my current gear, except the tboots ^^ i also figured it was time to get a sword, so that is the other reason i am on fi.
