This is my first day here o.o! so hihi~!
I've noticed one thing in lineage that i think can be changed for better.
As you might noticed, melee elves don't have much choices on weapons to use, the best ones around are usually +9 bkats, or +9 dama! While knights have DKS, KV sword, PH, MR and DEs have Kclaw Kedos.
Unlike Paggarios Hatred (god of fire), Maphr's Retribution (god of earth), Sayha's Bow (god of wind), only eva's scorn (god of water) can not be made with dragon scales, neither can we hunt for it, since its drop rate is WAY too low.
Eva's Scorn were never dropped in events like DKS, Kclaw Kedo.
I've been killing in underwater for a long time but i've never got one.They are just extremely rare to get from one single mop of all server with the spawn rate and the drop rate.
I wonder if anyone could look into this and maybe do some change on it?
My suggestion is that the easiest way would be increasing Eva's Scorn's drop rate by 300% and have more monsters dropping it, or change it to be makable with 3 or 5 blue dragon scales in Heine Castle?
This way we melee elves can enjoy the fun of making good weapons (that we can actually swing) and be very happy!
As far as I know, there're only less than 5 Eva's Scorns remaining on the server.
+7 is nearly impossible to get, and i am about to give up my hope on a +9.
When Knight want a PH or MR, they can always make one, but when elves want one eva...
we can't make one, and we are not getting one even after couple weeks of hunting underwater...
so yah, what do you guys think about this issue?
please take a minute to look into this issue and i'll be very happy to see further replies and any ideas on this.

I think it's a wonderful idea Jay. Eva Scorn is a superbly rare drop and I have a clue why it's so when if NC can do anything about it that'll be wonderful.

i ve tried to hunt for one in the past but on LoA its a nitemare cus of low drop rates and bots, i was lucky enough to buy one but a drop wouldve been better

friends have been hunting there to get one for a few days now haven't gotten one.
The idea of making it craftable is great would raise the price of Blue Dragon scales or they might stay the same which would be even better for those who want to craft a +9 or even thinking about making
a +10.
Never explain. Your friends do not need it and your enemies will not believe it anyway.

The Eva's Scorn would be another excellent idea for an addition to the mop drop lists. It could be a rare to uncommon drop from a handful of bosses.

The sword itself isnt that great after the nerf to its crit rate. You are better off getting a different sword, for half the cost. I have heard time and time again that those with a +9evas scorn do not think that the performance is worth the cost. The cost, of course, is due to its rarity and not its performance.
You could buy up Pretender King Long Swords and try for +8-9. (Equivalent to an Elf Tsurugi) The ones I know of that have sold went for 15-20m. And its easily better than Scorn in average damage without having to rely on a Crit.

Sadly enough, this is true. That being said, you could probably get a +10 bkat for about the same price as a +9 PK sword (they both perform about the same). Swords (for elves) are very very limited, both in how powerful of one you are likely to get (+10 PK being about as strong as any elf is ever going to see) as well as your own melee abilities, which don't really improve much as you level. The only thing going for elf melee is the fact that we get so many more "buff casts" out of relics than Dark Elves do. You'll need it too...our melee isn't worth a damn without them.
Eva is a novelty weapon, like SoS, that is only expensive because its so damn rare, not because it performs anywhere near its level of cost.

yup having a PK long sword will always be nice, but i think they are as rare as the scorns.
I've talked to several people on the server and we came up with few ideas about who should be dropping Eva's Scorns, the first mop we think of was Ice Queen, since she's correlated to water, also all the mops in Abyss Lake, since that place doesn't really drop anything good; adding Eva's scorn as a drop should be a pretty good idea and would definitely make that place more fun to hunt.
If NC could make Scorns craft-able I suggest it only takes 3 BDS to make, since that'll be cheaper!
