So what's the deal with Episode 6? Why the wait? |

Well, it's been a very long, hard road. The language barrier is also difficult, but this has been one of the first major publishes after the LoA ruleset was expanded - it's proven to be very difficult. |

Well - we have Episode 6 running internally now - and it stands up just fine. The mac client even works! |

Yes and no... In order to bring everything in-line we've had to make some major alterations to the ruleset. You see, the database ID's on our US-specific items have all been re-used in Episode 6 by NCK and there just aren't enough numbers available in the system to accommodate both our own ID's and the Episode 6 stuff. We would have to wait until the second part of "Festival" before we can roll out as it contains server fixes to increase the available number of ID's. |

Actually no, but after talking with Scout about the problem we've come up with a solution. |

Basically, we're going to remove the LoA ruleset from all servers. |

Not really. Whilst we do this, we've finally got the go-ahead from NCK to merge our servers. We're going to use the hardware from Ken & Dep to create two new servers - one PVP and one Non-PVP. You'll have the option to move your characters to whichever one you want, but you'll only be able to take the items which you can carry and your adena. |

Cool - so what about the old LoA hardware, and what happens to people with LoA-specific items? |

This is the cool bit... Kinda. The LoA-specific items will get removed during the transfer - there's nothing we can do about this because of the database problem, but we are looking into a good way to compensate people. We won't just give you nothing!
As for the hardware... *grins* we're going to give you a LiTo server at last! |

No. They're completely new servers - and we don't want to discriminate against former LoA players. We're going to name them Sloof and Lirpa. |

Actually, we pulled the names from player story submissions over the past few years. Of the names we found when digging through some of the older submissions, those were the ones we liked the best. |

first of all, this post is an april fools joke so nothing is gona happen like how Roo says
and Lito is a server where ppl from other servers can join w/ thier items only to fight or do team death matches
in preset zones
none of thier adena or resources are transfered over.. its just an instance of thier character + gear and they can buy the potions they need before they start the deathmatches... no penelities for dieing.
Its just a ranking system and is for fun.. since korea has alot of servers, ppl from the different servers can see whos better...

LiTo is short for Lingeage
LiTo is short for Lingeage Tournament.
Aside that, those server are precisely what Prominence said.
Since you dont have disadvantages from dying inside the competition you could compare it to FI or FVB, just with more people and interesting maps. (special designed for PvP)
As for Roo's post, I tend to believe that the part about database problem with EP 6 is is real. But that is only a feeling.

Yep, thats how my 4000 valentines cards came up missing, cause they were a conflict with another item ID at the time. eer.
But anywho, as to if they put it that we can only carry the items thats on each individual character for the merge, then I'll have to startup another account and create at least 2 more characters to hold all my stuff.
Its taken me 6yrs to accumulate all my gear and extras and my crafting materials Ive keep on hand when I make elven items with Relic, and i'm not about to just leave them all behind, because without the marketing of an occassional yumi or two, this royal would be very poor in the game. -.-
I used to make money from the gathering of dragon scales and selling them, but when they put the dragons back in, that stopped that project, not only for me, but for others that I knew were also surving in the game via dragon scale hunting.
So the main question i got on that is....is that 100% weight that we can carry or will we be limited?
I really do hope that was a 'april fools joke,' cause it got my dander up.
