samething happened to me, I was spamming global with 0000000000000000000000000000000000000 and monitor just started following me around when HE/SHE should be looking for bots (which are not hard to find)

You misunderstand the problem.
The monitors do care...just not about you or me or other players. They are watching out for their investment. Despite whatever Crickette or Fracas may say, I KNOW that the frontline staff members most responsible for tracking and removing bots are in on the it. They are ensuring the safety and proper operation of their bots so they can reap the profits.
They can "ban" people for supposedly cheating (with little if any solid evidence to support it) who just HAPPEN to be strongly opposed to the cheaters, yet after months of cheating in the most obivious of fashion are incapable of removing blatant offenders. Tells you which side of the fence these "monitors" fall on in no uncertain terms.
I won't claim to know anything about Crickette or Fracas on the matter, but if they AREN'T in on it too, they are two of the biggest suckers ever. The entire support staff is laughing at the you two...not even behind your back.
Last (but certainly not least) is the fact that when a cheater actually IS caught by some miracle, a week or so later the account is "magically" re-enabled and the cheating begins again. That tells me someone pretty high up the food chain over there is in on it too...

I don't think it would do any good to add my words to the official boards (as of yet), but it should certainly be sent to Fracas and Crickette in private messages. It is distinctly possible that they are so disconnected and removed from the day to day DIRECT operations of the servers that they are just not aware of how obvious the depths of corruption is. I'm sorry, but Monitors have the power to GREATLY interfere with the process of removing cheaters from the game and they are CLEARLY (maybe not all but certain more than enough) acting in a capacity that is at odds with the continued health and longevity of our loved Lineage.
The reason for the private discussion is simply because I seriously doubt that they would publicly admit to this sort of problem (the backlash of it in Eve is STILL rippling through that game despite all attempts to silence it). But to players like you and me...that might take a slightly different stance in private.
Now, should neither of them chose to respond to it at all...well, we can burn that bridge when we come to it. It's just too bad we players don't the have power to set up sting ops against particularly obvious monitors that need to be fired.
I'm sorry, but with as MASSIVE as the 3rd party market is, it is naive to think that the staff are above the influence or attraction of quick and easy cash. Afterall, in the grand scheme of things, Monitors are all but the first and last line of defense against it.
