If you want to make a +10 weapon in Lineage, you need two things: luck and adena - and plenty of both. After my last blowing spree I was down to 60k, somewhat to less for another attempt. Therefore I feed my brain's Lineage section with a few keywords: adena, dais, plenty! To my surprise it came out with: Dream Island - uh? Damn autonomous brain sections but wait - Killer Bees drop dais and there is a chance to get an elixir as well!
Talking about chance, I remember that Chance tried to hunt for an elixir as well - a month long - without success. All the people I talked to who got an elixir on DI get it by luck, either from a spirit or a random mop - none of them excessively hunted DI to get one. Is it possible to hunt an elixir at all? Time to try...
The idea is to hunt DI for a few hours a day until I either got enough dais and/or an elixir. The air area seems to be the perfect spot to do this. Killer Bees drop dais and I can mow down every thing in seconds there, except those PIA one hitter mops.
The first two days on DI went smooth, I gathered a nice number of zels and dais. Let's have a look on the drop list so far:
I also get the famous 'Blinding Poition' but didn't capture it. Looks like I already got almost all possible drop, except of an elixir and Ring of Harpy.

Good luck hunting there. I've tried hunting the fire eggs and fungus for a while, and picked up a bdai and some other paper, but no elixir. I'm probably gonna keep goofing around in there too, so I'll let ya know if I come up with the elixir.
