After I died today, I thought this could be the right moment to try for a +10 Damacus Sword. I quickly grabbed my 3 +9 Damas and gave it a try and this is what happend:

The 2nd sword didn't blow up, 3 times in a row it came out with +0 then puffed, like the others x.x
Now I'm swordless, maybe time to switch to wind again *CRY*

Just a short roundup for
Just a short roundup for this day: 2x dead, 3 x +9 weapon puffed, 3h FI = nothing, 3h DI = nothing x.x
I am thinking you are trying
I am thinking you are trying too hard for a certain drop.
I know when I hunt something specific, it gets to me.....
It's when you least expect it, that something happens!
Example: I had my first lag death in years and was very upset as I am a 'safe' hunter atm trying to hit lvl 60. So I went to storage, took out all my zels and dai (I have NEVER done that b4) .... made +8 Sword of Flames, made +8 GoP but... I was trying to get them out of inventory lol. The good stuff blew - +8 dama, +7 cutlass, +6 bcomr....
Just hunt for fun Coro. You'll be surprised at what may happen ;)

I barely hunt for exp,
I barely hunt for exp, usually I choose to hunt a certain area just because for the possible drops there. It takes time and when I get bored I jump to another hunting area or try something new.
But most fun I have in Giran or during our totally chaotic pledge hunts :)
For enchantments - well, very true, I have more luck when I try from time to time instead of mass blowing sessions...
Hope you'll reach lvl 60 soon :) I guess its cool getting a new morph after 5 levels.
Never blow a weapon you are
Never blow a weapon you are using.
How about some funhunts, I think those are coming to short. Feel free to holler me in game.:)
I'm at 8 +0 on a weapon and
I'm at 8 +0 on a weapon and still havn't made a +10 :| blew over 250mil zzzz luck hates me.

i heard +9-10 is 1/10 chance
i heard +9-10 is 1/10 chance
I am fairly confident it
I am fairly confident it goes like this.
Put an ndai on a +9 weapon. You have a 50/50 chance. The first 50 is that it blows up. The second 50 is that it does 'something'.
That 50% chance is again cut in half split between these two possible outcomes.
'Something' could be one of two things. It could go +1, or it could go +0.
So you have:
1/2 chance itll blow
1/4 chance itll go +0
1/4 chance itll go +1
Thats how I have always understood it to be, could be wrong and I am open to new incite on it.
I have also heard the same theory but a little different. That it is 2/3 chance to blow. 1/6 to go +1, and 1/6 to go +0.
