Today I read a post on the NC Boards that really peeved me off. The subject was Bannable offences. I replyed to this post in a polite manner to find out the thread had just been locked.
I created a new post with the title "Lets Be Perfectly Honest...".
I asked the point blank questions of... Why do you continue to tell us "the players" that by submitting a ticket to support, is the action we should take to help you the nc staff do your jobs when, We players already have wasted our valuable time doing just that and the cheaters are still playing to this day. I asked what reward can we players expect from support when we have already seen that to submit a ticket is a complete and total waste time.
The Thread was deleted in 3 min from creation. Only Lyzira read that post im guessing.
So i posted again... This time in the Bogus Fracus Bot Thread. I informed lyzira that deleting my other thread doesn't change the fact that bots have and are ruining the game we love to play. Also I wrote that as a new voice to the boards Lyzira should take a step back and think about the negative responce she will be recieving by deleting threads that complain about bots and cheaters we the players feel is the most important issue facing North American Lineage1 Servers today.
That post is gone also.
I posted a new thread as a poll asking:
Who believes that NC is doing a great job,
Who has submitted a ticket to support and the bot is still playing,
Who believes support will ban a bot if the evidence is given to support,
Who thinks NCA is doing a great job and should get a raise in their paychecks.
I do not know the out come of that thread....
As my access to the Lineage Boards is now BANNED/LOCKED.
LYZIRA is new, she is only doing her job as her employer has instructed her to do it. She is a NOOB and IMHO not likely to understand the ramifications that attemping to silence us on the entire BOT/BOUGHT/3RD PARTY PROGRAM issue, will only make us more angery and less likely to send any tickets to "NC Lack-o-Support". You want our help to clean up your mess.... reward me. The reward of "No Bots on the servers to harrass and steal from us players", that bs is so old flies dont swallow it either. Reward Me... and i'll spend all my game time in the bot infested areas accusing and taking screen shots to send to support. But I have already wasted too much time doing that... so support gets to hand out a reward first this time.
Am I alone in my dissatisfaction with Fracus and staff at NCA?
Am I the only one who thinks that Support at NCA is a joke?

Its really hit or miss right now, whether most my friends will make it to EpU release before they blow all their shyt or not... and unless EpU comes with massive banning/heavy policing, it proably wont buy more than a couple months, as the game isn't even what causes us unhappyness, if they never updated lineage again it would be fine, if they policed bots, and more importantly shared accounts camping bosses to sell adena for money and make a living in flking 3rd world countrys where you can live off the shyt.

Lyzira is just doing her job right, she keeps the boards clean and follows the rules, without exceptions. I really wish other NCA staff would do their jobs as good as Lyzira does with the boards - we wouldn't have a major bot problem then!

I gotta agree there... as much trouble as the comunity make on boards, shes first person at NCA Lin that does her job in years, its rather refreshing... its to bad shes just the com-coord and can't really efectuate any changes/work that will help the game out, only comunicate our issues to the same people who don't even show their face for months at a time.... maybe we can push the rest of the team over to dungeonrunners and get some people that do their job to replace them... lol

I both agree, and disagree with things said in this thread.
Yes, she is doing her job the only way she knows how. But is she doing it in the best way for the community and the best way for the game? Or is she just doing it so that they boards look clean and argument free today... Even though soon they will be completely clean... with no one left to post on them.
Deleting complaint threads does nothing. She gets on to us because we make the same threads, or discuss the same things, repeatedly. If she would just leave up one thread for us to complain in, we wont need more than one... Make it an official complaint thread... She fails to realize that these things we are discussing and BEGGING NC for help on are the issues that are jeopardizing the future of Lineage and the game we enjoy. We are not posting them for fun, to piss her off. We post them because we have no where else to take our concerns... And now she is removing the last place we had and instead telling us to take our concerns and voice them to the one place we have the most concerns with. Support!
So as I told Lyzira... She will get her wish, and people will stop posting these things and everything will be happy over on the boards she polices.
And it will be a facade. It will appear as though we are all happy because we are not allowed to say anything contrary to that... And NC will just think 'hey, they look happy, we must be doing something right now!' Despite how untrue that statement is.

I dont care if I get banned. Unlike most, as I have two game accounts, I actually have two board accounts... I have a backup if it comes to it. But silencing the only people that seem to care about this game... It just shouldnt have to come to this.

Well, the official boards rules actually tell you that you are not allowed to change account to get around banning. Judging on Lyzira's practices you would propably get banned also on your second account immediately you post on your back-up account or already at the moment when she bans your first one, hehe. But well, of course she would only be doing what she would have to do in the case.
Offical forum rules states:
7. No account hopping to evade suspension.
You are personally responsible for your conduct on the forums. If you
create a new account to continue posting because another account was
suspended, any forum accounts involved will be permanently suspended.
Forum and/or game bans apply to a person, not specifically an account.

I would read that rule in a way that it does not matter when your accounts has been created as the ban is for the person, not the account. But you are right, I guess it could be taken also the way you read it if wanting to find loopholes.
Maybe Lyzira would want to rephrase that rule just to clarify it.

DO NOT CONTINUE to hand out the same BS line that submitting a ticket to support is the only thing that can and should be done. WE HAVE SUBMITTED 100'S OF TICKETS on just 1 bot, and the same bot is still here stealing drops, mops and ruining my game play.
She is new, and as far as im concerned just the mouthpiece to silencing us players who are tired of being lied to by NCA.
Its her message board and she is going to clean it up. Maybe at the cost of losing customers... maybe just to have the boards go silent and appear that everything is just peachy in NCA land.
It all comes down to money. The bots money is just as green as mine, and a bot never complaines on the message boards. He just has his pocket Monitor slam the players invading his farming zone.
Sk8, the ban i have in place on me is blocking my IP from accessing the message boards web page. I can view any other page at that site. Just not the message boards... so use caution.

What, she has IP-blocked you to even access the boards? That sounds a bit extreme, heh. Blocking the reading rights is way overboard in my opinion and only the posting rights should be disabled in the account. Official boards contain some important discussions and announcements from NCA staff so every game account owner should have access to at least read the boards. Maybe she has made a mistake with that, who knows.
I actually had made a post about lack of results for the support tickets and how players propably won't send them in much anymore because it's such a waste of time, but had to go and remove it after I saw you had posted multiple posts about similar subject with such a bad outcome. But if the official boards really become a place where you cannot express critizism even it would be constructive, I may eventually just stop posting there altogheter. We have LineageOne after all.
What comes to the subject, I agree with Barryz and Sk8 in this one. Lyzira does not need to tolerate constant rulebreaking in the boards and some posters has been walking over the rules quite a lot the last few months so her trying to clean up that is understandable. But trying to silence the discussions about flaws in NCA's methods ain't good way to build trust towards the company. It only gives the impression that problems are wanted to be wiped under the carpet. Guess we are just really tired and frustrated to the situation and the lack of solutions NCsoft has offered to the bad support and the constant posts about the matter propably seems like a broken record for the new face arriving in middle of all that. And when she's coming from CoH/CoV the cheating ain't so bad in that game. If she would be from Lineage 2 I bet she would be like home in here, haha.
Oh well, she's only doing her job and we will see how this turns out in the end. At this rate there won't be many left from the 15 or so people who still post in the official boards tho, hehe.

I love being a poster, not a moderator, I don't have to be nearly so careful on what I post as they do hehe... at least the same 3 posts advertising linx arn't up for how long was it, like 4 days? lol... most warnings I've gotten are for rules I knew I was breaking, like posting names (I.E. LemonCobra is a douch), which anyone whos been on the boards when they used to be moderated, knows you can't do... its just wierd having a moderator again, most negative posts have stayed up, as long as rules arn't broken though.

You might be right. Guess I get a bit jumpy when there's danger the right to give critique is lost and problems are not wanted to be discussed if it involves the company in hand.
So far my judgement has been mostly based on the comments of people since I have not have chance to personally read the mentioned posts before they were removed. So I also cannot know if there were lots of rule breaking in the way the posts were written or was it just the subject that caused Lyzira to remove the threads because they weren't giving good image for the NCA.
But I have not received any warnings yet nor my posts edited or deleted that I'd know of even I have given some critizism, so maybe she is allowing that after all and only removing the posts that are written in a way that breaks the rules.
Actually when re-reading Barryz post I now see what was the problem for Lyzira. I was reading it in haste the first at late night yesterday so guess I missed the point where the first polite message did not go through because the thread he was posting into was locked while he was writing the post. After he continued bringing up the subject, OK. Well, I still think he should have access to read the boards, just not post into it for a while.
Heh oh well, guess it just needs a bit time to get used to unless it does not go into direction that overly denies all the criticism. Because the thing is that critique usually does not come out of thin air but always has some truth in it wanted or not. It's up to the subject if it's taken as opportunity to learn and improve or just hide and silence.

She can't imagine how angry the people are about the bots, cheater and lack of support. She can't imagine how its sucks if you can't hunt TOS 1f because the WHOLE place is under control of bots, she can't imagine how it is if you bagging a monitor to remove them to hunt there and nothing happens - for weeks! She has no idea that support don't help you in this case!
She never played the game! She doesn't know how it feels if you played years to improve your character while the botter only need 2-3 month to get there.
Cheaters are more an issue on PvP than on none PvP but still - both botters and cheaters ruin the game lasting!

We do not block users from viewing the boards. You will have to log out of your account in order to view the boards like any visitor does. If you are not seeing the page at all, then it is a bug that will need to be looked at.

Hello,
I have complete access to all of the Lineage Website (did you know the castle page is partly working again) except the message boards.
When the message boards is selected, it says " Your account has been Banned/Locked. Please use back button to return to previous page".
I have a DSL, Cable and a T1 at my office. None of those give me access to the message boards. I have tried 5 diff computers to access the message boards. None allow me to view, let alone "Logout".
Thank You for taking the time to stop by. Glad to hear from other players that things are looking up, that you have stepped in and asked support why it is we the players are willing to get banned to explain to you that the Former Support was a pathetic lame division of the company you are currently working for.
With all due respect... Support was a joke. To be told to submit a ticket was a slap in the face. To have the game you love to play over run by Cheaters and Bots and the leadership continue for many years to say "We hate bots too". Yet the bots we report never log out for a week straight and become level 52+ in 2 weeks, 60+ the following week. Is insulting and degrading to think we continue to believe that line of BS.
I have nothing against you personally, and hope that this rocky start has opened your eyes that we are passionate about our( yes, our and your) game. All I ever ask from anyone is "NEVER LIE TO ME". If you say your going to do something... you better gosh dang do it.

My Temp Ban has been lifted so I was able to log into the message boards.
I probably will not be posting on the Lineage boards, as their policy of censorship is set to "Uber/Extreme" against those who inform them that their system(s) of support and in game monitoring have been broken for years and to repeat the same complaint(s) after years is just insane.
Then to have a new face arrive and be told, Please submit a ticket to suport... Translation "Continue to spin your wheels and use the same broken systems that we have ignored, and plan to continue to ignore like the last 4 people in my position have done".
I am glad to hear from others that Lyzira is taking a different approach and is being active and seeking solutions... other Com Cords have made progress between the players and NC Management only to be "Promoted" or have their work load increased, leaving the player community out in the cold, AGAIN. Lets hope Lyzira sticks with us long enough to make a serious improvement.
Only We the players are still the same (albet more angery at having been decieved far too many times). The entire management of NC has changed mulitple times (plz correct me if im wrong) only to bring in thier new plan of how to improve the game we all love to play, then relize that what they want to do can not be done and then they just ignore the whole issue for any number of differant reasons. The most popular being... " That requires a coding change from NCK and we have submitted our request to tackle this issue. Translation "Hold your breath"." I'm not holding my breath any longer waiting for change to arrive.
