Fracas is back from Korea

Young and I have made it home safely from Korea and the trip was a great success. We had a chance to meet and talk to Lineage team members from every department, including: GMs, testers, business managers, and the developers themselves. The meetings proved to be both inspiring and informative, leaving Young and I with a sense of excitement that is downright intoxicating. 

The main agenda of the trip was to put faces to all of the names we have been writing to over the past few years. We also went with the goal of improving and updating our internal tools and processes, which cover everything from customer support services to design tools. We also got a peak at the future of Lineage which, although really exciting, isn’t my place to discuss at this time. I can tell you there is a lot of new content coming our way and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.  

Our plans for the near future here have not changed. Our focus is still on getting Episode 6 and Lineage U to PTS next month and then live soon after. After those have been published we’ll be focusing on other updates required to get us caught up. Meanwhile we’ll be strengthening our internal tools in hopes of offering more services to all of you. 

Next year we hope to get to our ever-so-elusive server merge plans as well as exploring what other features we can add to the Lineage service in North America. All in all I’m looking forward to a very excited next few months and hope y’all are too. 

Sounds promising! Maybe we'll get some kind of LinWeb back? Maybe in XML like in Dungeon Runners?

So much work is waiting to be done, the Linage boards, LinWeb, Client bugs/features, 2 episodes  (almost 3 now), 8,748,930,974 open support tickets and something against the bot infestion!
