This application failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
I have 2 different copies and have played on test for 3 weeks.
This only happened after the small update. It would be easy to think people are using same folder for both. But i can assure you I didnt have problem before Tuesdays small update.
It only happens after I go to test. Then try to sign on Ken and get the application error.

Same thing happened to me. There was a one file update (lineage.new) that I think screwed the game up with the reset today.

Yes the update has crashed many people. NC hasnt removed the update and they are aware it is causing this issue.
Everyone needs warned that this update may cause their lineage client to fail.

Ladybug has never played on test or had test copy on her comp. Last nite was first time she logged in since update on live server. I kept telling her to log back in after she got out. She didnt bcuz she was afraid it would happen to hers. So she tried to log in this morning and got the error. She is on Vista and Im on xp home at work and home.

Whew...glad to hear I am not the only one having this problem. Thought my pc was about to crash.
Mine also does not entail going to test server for it to happen. I had to reload lineage last night to play and also today the same thing happened. Reload again! Guess I'll have to do it again tonight to play.

Delete your shortcut off desktop...Restore computer to a date like 8/10 or earlier..Find lineage folder...double click USLIN 205_01
this will re-install game and when you log out
repeat above steps..faster than downloading

If you haven't already done so, we'd really appreciate if you guys that are having this issue would submit help tickets to our tech support team. We're still trying to resolve this and really meed more information since this has been difficult to reproduce on our end. We realize that many players are experiencing it but it isn't affecting everyone.
Mac users appear to be the lucky ones right now that aren't seeing this!

It seems rather odd to me that some pc clients are effected and others are not .. 3 of the comps in my home have Lineage installed and none of them have the issue (knocks on wood) all 3 have different os's .. Vista, Xp Pro and yes .. even ME (o.0 .. dont ask). I have not now nor will I modify any of the clients .. so I'd tend to think that those having issues either have (in some form or another) modified their clients or have some how corrupted a file that has something to do with what ever this ".new" effects ? I duno .. Im no sk8 (poke poke ;) friendly rub) an I dont know much about the hows n whys of the runnings of comps. Actually all I'm doin' is blabering cause I'm bored and running up my "Karma" at the same time !!

For those getting the issue, they are only able to log on the first time after patching. After that, the only way to get back is to reinstall unless you've got a backup install of the game handy.
I don't have any updates at this time unfortunately. :( We are in the process of testing fixes for this issue.

You mean to say you will also let them know that this is NOT happening on Tikies ME machine o.0 matter of fact .. it's not happin'n to any of Tikies machines .. Tikie was just sayin' that all Tikies machines are fine .. even the ME machine ^^ though Im sure they will get a laugh outa the fact that Tikie is running a machine w/ME (runs my shop ^^)

When I downlaoded at work it went like 3 lines in the text update box then stopped and it said a new launcer was available and I needed to start the update over. It then went to a new update screen with 2 progress bars at the bottom..
Now Im at home and something different is happening..It goes through the normal update box we have always had..then I get some text I cant read. Almost like arabic writing or something..
Please dont make me want to go back to work....

i noticed that hidden valley is broken, when you leave town you get teleported back. the "teleport to entrance of dragon valley" option from giran doesnt work.

I got a question but it doesn't have anything to do with the bug its just that I feel the need to ask everyone and anyone about it. What do you do when your acc gets hacked and all items/adena are taken? I sent over 20+ letters to nc and was on the phone with them all day friday. They said they'd look into it but I've noticed with nc that yes they will look into it but your kinda fucked (sry for my potty mouth) when it comes to getting any of your stuff back. What is the ponit of even reporting it to nc if 1. they don't ban the ppl who hacked you and 2. they don't get your items/adena back? And one more thing... what is the ponit of having monitors in game when all they ever say is "Please contact the nc suport team, thank you have a nice day." whats the ponit of that? I remember years ago when monitors did help you rather then just shine you on. Ok I'm done b!tching lol. Ty!

if your items are still in the game and not blown from the hacker. theres a chance you will get your stuff back... but that almost NEVER happens... and NC won't really do anything bout that unless you get the authorities involved. if you let people on your acc they won't do ****. if it was a keylogger of some kind, they might ban the people that did it... all and all, 99.99% sure you won't get any help, or anyone banned unless you get the authorities involved. but you won't get your items back either.... hope that helps :(....

So I heard DE's are suposed to be droping Mith arrows and Wafers again. I head to Aden too hunt them.
This is what I noticed. They are still not agresive. Wich means they are hard as heck to spot. I think to my self with this kinda bites but I can live with that.
So I"m looking around and BK group comes. I think cool they put BK packs back in again. Everything else looks the same again as well. But Nope Gnole packs are two now not four, same with Lisards. Black knights are not trible anymore. But too themselfs or to other mops being hit. They do attack pollys. Finaly I find a DE I shoot it, Dogs go get it. Great I think I'm on my way to getting some wafers. I find a pack of three DE's soon after, Wohoo I'm on a roll now. I shoot one. They just keep walking away. I keep shooting..... they keep walking, My dogs reach them and BOOOM they go agro. On me?............ Nope on my Dogs. Soon after my pups are all dead. And the DE still alive walks off. ( even though I'm shooting it), Now I think to my self, Well yet another place my pets will be usless. So I go kenal them. Now I go back out to find them again. This time no pets. I kill an Owl bear and notice No seed. Np I think (they don't all drop them anyway). Then I see another OB and Notice nope not trible anymore either. So I shoot it too.... and so no seed drop. 25 30 OB's and no Seed's on that hunt.( I'm thinking they'er messed up now).
But I'm hunting wafers anyway. So still looking for DE's and killing anything that comes my way. I find a pack of three finaly. about ten min after starting the hunt. No Pups this time. I walk up on them a little and Shoot, Poof the first one tells out. Hmmmm this is differnt, I shoot the next one and poof again, and again. Well damn I think??? So off to find more. I find a single DE walking around I shoot and poof it's gone again.
Now I'm more then a 1/2 hour into this hunt. and No wafer no arrows and mabe I've seen 4 de's. So I find thee DE's again I shoot one Poof it goes. So I walk up to the others, they ignore me. I Erase one and blind it. it let s me kill it the other one walks off a little. I do the Erase blind thing again and kill it.
Now if this don't tell you NC that things are messed up there I don't know how too tell you better.

Ty FoL! Its so upsetting it happened to me in the summer and now to my hubby this past week. We feel like noobs again since all we got is noob items now lol. Start back at nothing is hard when your use to going to harded places to hunt and now can't. I think LineageOne should have a spot on here for ppls who have got hacked. And no, no one had our acct info other then us so all we can think is it must have been a key logger. Well ty again FoL for your helpful reply!

That post was originally intended to let you guys know that most of the new areas were now accessible. As it turns out, there are still a few outstanding issues (Contaminated Land of Blessing is still inaccessible) but we are working on them.
