DE Twink

What would be the way to go for weapons to level with.

Im guessing bclaw and s-edo.

I had played a str/dex DE on loa and used a bclaw, i gave up on the de right before they nerf'd them and havnt played with one since.

I want to start up a DE on ken and eventually two box it with my elf as the healer.

My DarkElf is lv 48 full wis

My DarkElf is lv 48 full wis with extra on dex.

I have only 3 weapons: +8bclaw, +8damaclaw, +7mithdagger/+8elfshield.  The type of mop determines what weapon they get used on them.

I Created my Darkelf to turn brings.  He has turned out to be a pretty good 2box tank. I pull aggro/drops from higher level knights and darkelves.  I never run out of mana unless I hunt heavy for very long periods of time.  It depends on your playstyle.  The Dark Elf is a killing machine, use caution if you dont have full con.

I went full con at 31st now

For those that don't know,

For those that don't know, twinkning is the act of getting best gear for level for a low level alt with a high level main char, so it can dominate in pvp. Since lin doesn't have level-bracket pvp and 99% of the gear doesn't have any significant level restrictions on it, twinking, by definition isn't really possible in lineage.

Actually, twinking

Actually, twinking (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twinking) by definition has nothing to do with PvP per se. Twinking "refers to outfitting a new character or player with items or other resources that are not normally available to new or low-level characters."

The term "twinking" has been used in Lineage for as long as I can remember and refers to starting an additional character with the best gear possible that has no level restriction and is not over-zel'ed or over-dia'ed, so only +4 or +6 stuff. This is particularly handy on Dep or Loa where running around with a +10 tsu on a newbie character makes you a pinata waiting to be popped.

you skipped the next

PyroAmos's picture

you skipped the next line,

One example of twinking is when a player equips themselves with higher-end gear in order to avoid the "newbie" hump. Another example of twinking is when a player equips themselves with all the best possible gear for his level range and fills them up with end-game enchantments in order to easily kill newer players.

and 2 of their 3 examples (guild wars and WoW) refered to low level pvp bracket play as the primary reason for twinking.

Albeit I'll give you that you could call putting your mains gear on your noob to lvl it twinking, I havn't heard anyone in lin use the term twink ever.
