Now it's fact, the stat re-roll system went live on korean servers with all the modifications to the magic- and stat-system, which include 35 stat cap, stronger area-magic, decreased mp requirements for certain 1-6 lvl attack spells, new CHA requirements for summons and new summons.
It's just a matter of time when we'll get this update and I really hope it will be here as soon as possible :)
Here is the link to the whole article in korean:

I'll try to gain a few levels before the update hits our servers and hope that the stat points we got from elixirs will be available for redistribution as well or remain at least.

Forgot something: The
Forgot something: The re-roll process can only be done 2 times per character.
This will be interesting. I
This will be interesting. I only hope they explain the changes thoroughly when they arrive also to our servers because it seems the update changes lots of how the game works. Making or changing characters while blindfolded is not too fun especially when you cannot change them later (or in this case can change only once).
Have they explained does this new system prevent HP/MP gambling? Seems that at least the already gambled characters will lose their benefit in re-roll, but can new chars still be gambled? I so hope gambling does not work anymore, hehe.
Thanks again for the information, very much appreciated :)

Have fun, but let others have too :)
This update makes HP
This update makes HP static.... it will be level x (con modifier) = HP, there will be no more hp gambling, as hp on lvlup will not be a variable, rather a static value. This update also makes adding con after 50 retroactive (level x (con modifier) = HP), although it looks like overall base HP got raised, and with stat maxes raised to 35, i doubt most chars will have more than 14~16 con, as there are alot of other places points are needed.
Note: this is all just stuff i've heard here and there, some/all of it may/may not be partially/wholey accurate/inaccurate.

HP/MP is not 100% static,
HP/MP is not 100% static, there is still a range on level ups. Sadly the info about what went on live server doesn't show all the details - e.g. I couldn't find anything about elixir stat points.
Maybe someone with better korean skills can find more about it....
I wish it was static for
I wish it was static for level up really. That would lesson the D/C NC server gives us....err our ISP when we get that random d/c on for lineage.....

Hmmmm I wonder what year we will see these changes...?
At any rate I'm sure I'll have a long to too think about it...lol.
Never waste a day "learn something new"
oh god.... this is probably
oh god.... this is probably the first change i REALLY dont want on our servers.... it will be a totally different ball game now. for the worse in my eyes... I like knowing my char can max out 1-2 stats if I lvl high enough like old diablo1.
I mean, pvp wise... would you rather be the hardest hitting char in game and sacrifice your hp? Or become the best tank in the game and the whole screen can't kill you kinda crap?... I agree it will make all chars unique now. but i just dont see the point in this game and how late they are doing it.
oh well. hurry up db online
oh well. hurry up db online -.-

lin1 is still over 1/3 of NC's income, regardless of their atempts to dump ppl from it into lin2 or their other titles, so they are atempting to increase the logjevity of the game. Basically lin1 is suposed to be dead and gone by now, but its still NC's 2nd biggest title, so they're re-building the basics of the game (since everything was designed for much lower level (remember when DK was god?) / stats (anyone remember 18/1 str being uber?) / ac (who doesn't have or know someone who has -127ac?) / MR (my MR in spellbook says 100 but I have gear for 125mr....) than the average player has now, w/every update putting ppl continually farther ahead, and hard to keep in limits such as max ac ect.) At least thats what it looks like they're doing to me.
