Live- & Test-Info (Help needed!!)

It came right after I made it to level 54 on Live-Server - the publish of EP6/EPU on public test server! 

After downloading the new Mac-Client (1.87GB) and Laucher-App I was the 2nd player on PTS and it took another 30mins before additional players logged on. The Windows-Client got a new Updater-Window, similar to that of Lineage 2, while the Mac-Client looks like the current version - and indeed, there isn't much new for the Mac-Client, it's still PPC only, still no environmental sounds, no still middel-button support, still GUI bugs and still no on-screen location info. But movement speed is finally on par with the PC version.

My first destination was Gludio which is all new! Haunted House (Ghost-Race), Pet-Battles, Fishing, new housing and and and. Sad news: Mac-Users can't go fishing yet - the client just crashes if you try but it works nice with the Windows-Client.

Cooking is fun. After you obtained a Level 1 Cookbook, bought some Firewood and some fruits, you can start cooking your first meal and with some luck it will be good :) The Cook's dialog is still uncomplete and you can't buy level 2 Cookbook or sell Foods to him - this dialog is just empty. One of the most popular foods was the exp-bonus food that, when eaten, gives you 1% exp bonus for every mop you kill for a certain amount of time.

The Ghost-Race is fun too but also a little buggy because you'll see korean text at some points during the race. The race is very simple, just find the Flame of Soul and hit it as fast a possible and the first 3 will get a Pumpkin price. One price you are looking for is the Skelton Grail, which is needed to get a magic doll!

The Legendary Bow Quest was the first quest I started. In this quest you can obtain the Bow of the Moon, a nice 2 handed bow with an addtional magic attack. You start this quest in Elven Forrest, there is a new NPC Robin Hood who will tell you what to do after you gave him some Apple Juice (yes, the Juice guy is back in Aden!). The quest is not the easiest but not impossible. With help I was able to get most of the needed components, now all I need are 30 Breathes of Fire/Water/Earth/Wind/Darkness which the elemental guardians on Lastavard 2f drop. If you have any breathes on test and are willing to donate them then let me know!! If you have 30 Breathes of each element, I'll trade you a +8 Ori-Dagger for them. Honor and glory will be yours! I'm writing a complete and detailed Quest-Guide for this once I've complete the quest. One thing you need is Ring of Saell which you obtain by killing the cursed Saell quest mop.

 You'll find many new bosses, new areas and face many changes! First: All bosses got MUCH stronger! They all have more HP and higher HP-regen. Phoenix took us 10mins! with a level 65 knight, 2 lvl 50+ elves, 1 lvl 48 knight and a mage. Don't expect to easily solo Dark Elder anymore! A level 55 mage with 4 Dire Wolves and me weren't able to end Greater Mino on FI. So be careful if you go for a boss again - better bring some people with you :) Heine 4F isn't a newbie area anymore. The Mermens hella hurt in packs and take a good punch! There are 2 new bosses on 4f - one of them is the Giant Worm - which was red to me and has bad 5-6 cell area attack! Good thing is: he is not aggro. Took us some time to end it:

Other changes:

-  Dark Elves DO NOT drop wafers or mith-arrows anymore!!!!

- Some Armors (BOE, Dragon Armors) have less AC now (like pre-LOA ruleset)

- Living Armors rarely drop HQ-gems now! (HINT FOR ELVES - STOCK UP - AT LEAST 10 OF EACH!)

- Pets can be summoned with a Calling Flute (many shops offer them) on FI :)

- FI mops only drop VERY few pots now!

- Casting Vampiric Touch costs 5 lawfull points now (no more easy 41f for me or I'll go chao)

- Overall magic is less effective

- All Lastabad Weapons and Armor can be bought and sold in Diad now, which has changed into a town now.

There are tons more changes, news and quests to do. I'll write some guides and point out hints by time. And again - If you have any Breathes of Fire/Water/Wind/Earth/Darkness you can donate on test, let me know! The one who'll donate most, will get the bow after some testing!!
