"I'm going to be deactivating 3 of our 5 accounts, while I wait and see how things go over. The other 2 won't be far behind. They've still got some bot and hacker slaying to do.
I don't really feel like grinding my character just to "keep up" with what it can already do now, while competing with an infestation of bots, fighting against hackers, dealing with players who's only goal in game is to ruin it for others, and waiting for my knight to be made a sub-par, wanna-be tank again, with a weakened healing structure behind it.
In the mean time I'll be off playing another game where my tank is actually a tank and my healer can really heal, and the damage dealer is surprsingly balanced to be what it's supposed to be.
Oh yeah...my pledge's loyalists are deactivating too... that's another 8 accounts. They've been playing with me. Damn that's like 5% of the active server population on Dep. >.<
Yes I'm brash, I'm straightforward, and I'm an [censored]. I'm aware that I'm also a disagreeable son of a bitch, because if I think you're wrong, I'll say as much, and give my reasons why. I'm sure a lot of you won't mind seeing me go. Especially Yakuza... because I'm just a whiny knight, who only whines about knight things, and he's just a DE who doesn't care about any other class because his is just peachy. (Out of everyone on these boards I really, really dislike you the most...)
Every point I've ever argued has been for the sake of this game, for the sake of balance, and for the sake of keeping things fun. For 7 years I've played, and given my feedback and input on this game. I'm not lacking experience in any facet of the gameplay, with any class.
I've argued with the same players and trolls on these boards for the past few years because they keep reiterating the same garbage. Sometimes good things have come out of it though. I've kept hoping for these damn things to be fixed so we could see some new blood. It gets tiring... it seems so simple a thing, and yet so many of you are disagreeable to no end. Oh well, you're free to do so.
I've said it time and again, backed it up with example after example of how these nerfs hurt everyone on just about every level of gameplay, but if y'all can't see that, or you're just that masochisticly twisted... whatever.
How many of us do you think are going to be that excited about new content, when our group dynamic won't even be strong enough to handle the old content anymore? I want challenges sure... but I want NEW ones.
That's essentially why I'm leaving. I can't believe I waited so long for such a massive fail of an update.
See all of ya around I guess, I know I've not been the most amiable persona on these boards. If things turn around for the better, I might look at coming back.

For a rule Lyzira made up on the spot, about us no longer being able to post threads when we leave the game, and for an extremely edited re-post containing only my contact info that was made before I received my warning, or was given opporunity to remove or edit it myself, or reply to her message. It leaves me with the question of whether or not the mods actually read what they're deleting.
Biased much Lyz? Hypocritical even? Goddess forbid I make sense and be contradictory. All I've been asking for is a sensible counter-argument. I suppose critiscism is only acceptable in the form of yes-men anymore, which is what majority of the main forum is filled with. All of them with such simplistic linear views and more of a desire to have new content than to retain a balanced game.

Ouch.. it does suck to have
Ouch.. it does suck to have your voice silenced while at the same time when you are fighting for what you believe is to be right and just. The way I've seen this game change since beta (8 years ago?) till now is just tremendous and most of the changes were unneccessary and makes the game unbalanced. And the most noticeable change was the population =/.. It's obvious when the game took a wrong turn if you see the population dropping everytime.. it's just common sense.

I would guess you were not banned for saying you were leaving or that you had canceled your accts. You got banned for reposting after a post deletion, right? If so, you made the choice that led to your banning. Yes Lyzira does read the posts, and her brand of justice is very swift and with no mercy. Thats her job. She also shows the same tenacity when it turns out the posters are correct, she just cant tell you that monXX was fired for doing whatever to whomever that should never have happened.
You are correct in that the NC Message Boards only want yes-men and those who offer solutions with the problems stated in a thread topic, and all threads must be presented so that NCSoft doesnt look like the bad guy. NCSoft is a business, they are not going to let anyone make them look bad on their own message boards. There is little room given these days on pushing the boundries of the forum rules, even tho we all have pushed too far in the past, it is not allowed any longer.
Sorry to see you go on such a sour note... maybe after some time away, you will check back to see if any of us are still here.

I reposted an edited copy of my original post, after re-reading the forum rules myself, and judging what I should take out. (Seeing as I wasn't told what the problem was...) My third post was entirely not of the same content and retained only contact information. All of which was generally over an hour total in time before I'd notice anything was deleted. That is not what you would consider "spamming".
Anyone that's ever been on any real forums would know that.
Had she followed the forum rules herself,. she's supposed to send messages upon deletion of posts detailing the reasons for deletion. To which she told me, she wouldn't have time to do, for all the posts she deletes.
NC fails in that regard. If you say something in game you're not supposed to, they can't tell you. If you do something wrong on the forums, they fail to tell you. It's like sending a kid to his room without supper, and telling him to think about what he knows he's done wrong. It's a failure in corrective behavior modification.

Even I have to say the recent discussions in the official boards headed to a bit hostile waters at times, I still thought the posts were mainly constructive. I do not always agree with Lyzira's moderating policies and it certainly seems at times that her actions are biased to target the ones posting stuff that's not totally beneficial for the company even the subjects would have been needed to be discussed about. Bringing the other side of the coin into light for matters at hand is beneficial to find solutions. But then again I do not usually know all the backgrounds for these bannings so maybe her actions have been justified in a way.
Anyways, I can only hope Lyzira gave you only kind of cool down time and restores your ability to post after some given timeframe as I think you made mostly well thought and constructive posts. But maybe NCW does not need those kind of posts anymore because there will be barely anything to discuss about when every change comes directly from Korea and NCW is not discussing with the players about anything else but the raw bugs in the publishes.
If you're truly leaving the game behind, I can only wish you good luck in whatever you decide to do after Lineage. Otherwise I'm sure you will get your posting rights back after a while and you can participate into whatever there will be to discuss about.

The reasoning for my banning has now gone from being about a non-existant "no quitting posts" rule, to spamming.

Right or wrong, I can't say; but my guess is that is what they are thinking.

Seek justice in game or in the boards, and/or
Question the competency of monitors or administrators, and/or
Ask for updates (contents or news) as originally promised, and/or
Submit more than 1 post on your opinion of game play, and/or
Demonstrate that the TOS, forum rules, or administrative actions are unevenly and discriminatingly applied, and/or
Hint that you know more about game play than the moderator and/or game monitor, and/or
Demand that accounts banned for illegal gameplay are published so that you can avoid them when they return, and/or
Name names of known cheaters, hackers and users of other 3rd party programs in a forum established to "facillitate game play," and/or
Continually submit a list of broken cell locations, an/or
Reply "bull----" when tech support suggests that your custom built, $11,000 laptop has a insufficient video card, and/or
Mention that 1 year ago you read a list of known bot hunting sites and note that the sites are still infested by the same bots, who have now levelled 20 levels above you (starting 7 years later) and could bail out Lehman, WaMu and the entire american auto industry if adena were really coin of the realm, and/or
Suggest that in-game monitors are as effective that bastion of airport security, the TSA agent ,who, btw, can't tell the difference between a disassembled Glock and a nail clipper, and/or
