Please be advised that the official Lineage message boards are currently down for maintenance.
In little under two hours, NCsoft will unveil our brand new official forums over on lineage.com
Until the new official boards are available, we will try our best to relay as much information from the Lineage 1 team as possible.
Once the new boards are up, you should be able to log in as usual with your game account information. If you didn't have a board account you will now be able to make one too! In the event that your existing account gives you problems you can email our hero of the day, Lyzira, at and she will work her magic for you.
Please be patient as we expect she will have her hands full!
We'd like to thank the Lineage 1 team for their extraordinary efforts over the past few weeks to get us all back on form.

I simply am not at all comfortable with floating that information around any more than I absolutely have to.

Umm... Just to make sure:
We are now using our game account information (username and password) also for the message boards' account? The concern what I want to make sure before logging into the boards is that the boards' login is using encrypted transmission, right? What I would not want to do is to send my game account info in plain text to the Internet -_-
So if you could clarify that if it's truly the game account name and password we need also to log into the message boards, that is it also truly safe to use? I just want to be cautious with this as at least the login does not seem to use SSL encryption what I could see of, but hopefully there is something that makes this solution safe for us.
