I decided to take the dogs to Fire Valley before. As long as we stay away from Ifrit they're fine, and I can stay out till I run out of arrows. So with 5K of those, we set out. 
That's me with my +9 hbow and my three HASTED level 47 dobes. We can hit ok. My attitude is that on a non-pk server I never ever ever look for trouble, but I certainly won't back away from any either.
So the dogs are on an egg pack and lava golem, when some silly dwarf mage with skells decided to ice dagger the golem and then HITS me with ice dagger. Excuse me? Did you not see three dogs and me on that mop? I can see hitting the mop accidently. It happens. I can see hitting ME as I look like a mop. But if you hit me so that your summons come in...uh uh. That's personal.
Now meanwhile the golem had ended, so my dogs were coming back. So well, live free or die, I hit his skells. That put the dogs on them and I then went to work on him. I guess he didn't like that, as he left really fast.
And I also guess he is not too smart, as he came right back. Hey, I like a good fight
Sungirls my ass...Girls?? Right. Is that some sort of weird shorthand for old ladies in Florida or something? Anyway, he REALLY didn't like all the fire power directed at him, and after never ever hitting me, he left.
Eggs all around for the good dogs. I'm only sorry he didn't stick around long enough so I could have killed his skells.
